We Watched "John Wick: Chapter 4"

Matt (00:01.325)
Hello and welcome back to... Popcorn and Plot holes. You thought I was gonna mess it up, but I didn't. No pausing. No one gets to speak. I'm not waiting for anything. We're just flying through this. We watched John Wick 4, the last spoilers movie in the John Wick universe. You'll find out what- you probably watched the movie, who cares? With me as always is... Luciano.

Luciano (00:04.494)
Ho-ho!

Spencer (00:05.215)
Hehehehehehe

Luciano (00:21.827)
Yes I am.

Matt (00:23.653)
Spencer.

Spencer (00:24.923)
I am Klaus.

Matt (00:27.052)
And Chris.

Luciano (00:27.558)
and claws.

Chris (00:30.838)
Kane, John, Kane, John, Jonathan, Winston, Sharon.

Luciano (00:33.634)
Winston? Hahaha, yeah.

Spencer (00:35.097)
John... It's... Kane...

Luciano (00:40.81)
Listen, they know Keanu Reeves's range of acting and they played with it. Okay, it's fine.

Spencer (00:47.879)
Luciano? Chris?

Luciano (00:49.43)
Trancer.

Chris (00:50.158)
Spencer, Matt.

Matt (00:53.465)
Chris? You dead yet?

Chris (00:54.547)
Lambert.

Spencer (00:57.075)
Klaus? Yes? I'm Klaus!

Luciano (00:58.95)
Close.

Matt (01:00.332)
Yes? Gergen?

Chris (01:00.435)
TURGON!

Sandwiches. Ooh!

Luciano (01:03.778)
Yep. Ape man?

Matt (01:05.881)
Let's dive into this. We watched Genre Mk4. This is the second in our 2023 movies y'all like that we missed series. It is covering the A for action. I mean, we couldn't get more spot on with a movie that hits the genre bang on. This is all action, all gas, no break, no talk. No, well talk, but no good talk. Small, quick, short talk. Simple.

Spencer (01:29.697)
And no good talk. No good talk, just bad talk.

Luciano (01:30.422)
Small talk. Name talk. Why use many words when few words do? That definitely that's that was the general, just the general stage directions for the movie.

Matt (01:34.925)
Bat-Tac, Short-Tac, Small.

Exactly. Thanks, Kevin.

Spencer (01:42.676)
I was like, that was written on the script. It was like, Jumwag 4, subtitle. Why use many words when few words do, when few words work?

Matt (01:54.456)
Yeah. Um, this movie was like almost three hours. They had to cut words to keep it under.

Luciano (01:58.872)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:59.431)
This movie had no basis to be this long. It had no right to be this long. Sorry. Yes.

Luciano (02:01.69)
Business. Yes. Positive.

Matt (02:06.257)
Spencer, we're going to start where we start normally in a positive vein. What did you guys like about John Wick 4? What's your favorite part of John Wick 4?

Luciano (02:16.118)
My favorite part was the overhead fight scene inside that abandoned house or whatever. I loved that, not just because of the dragon's breath thing, but just because first they could just do that with the stuntman and so he was not in slow motion. But like it was a neat sort of visual kind of video gamey kind of thing. I enjoyed that part. It was a fun way of breaking yet another long fight scene in a way that was fun to watch.

Spencer (02:19.944)
Oh, Dragon's Breath shotgun?

Chris (02:23.679)
Mmmm

Spencer (02:38.544)
Yeah.

Luciano (02:45.958)
but that was my favorite part by far. Yeah.

Spencer (02:47.459)
Yeah, it was refreshing to have a different that I was, I completely agree. And I came in with that plan to say that part, because it was, especially with the, the dragons, I think it's called dragon's breath shotgun. It's like shoots like the flare or whatever. It's like insinuary.

Luciano (02:56.549)
Hahaha

Luciano (02:59.922)
It's Drago's breath. Yeah, yeah. It's phosphorus rounds. Yeah. It just shoots fire, right? It's awesome. Yeah.

Spencer (03:08.567)
Yeah, it was just like I've never seen that. I don't think in a movie it was really like it was like, oh cool. And with the second he shot, I'm like, they better use this more. And then he like slowly reloads it and then it's like a full on 10 minute. Oh my God, I know what they're doing. So so that part was.

Luciano (03:17.138)
Yeah. There's one point where he shoots something that is flammable and the guy not only gets blasted by it, but catches on fire and he runs from one room to the other to the other still on fire. And then John shoots him again. Yeah, it's amazing. Yes.

Matt (03:17.409)
I'm sorry.

Matt (03:22.509)
haha

Spencer (03:29.448)
Yeah.

Matt (03:33.537)
Yep. Ha ha ha.

Spencer (03:33.723)
And then he shoots him again. There's a lot of overkill in this movie where he like shoots a guy in the head four times and then shoots him again as he's leaving the room. I'm like, he's dead. Uh, that, that was definitely the best scene. But other than that, cause Luciano said it, I would say the, the stairs, him falling that have you, have you seen, have you guys seen hot rod? The Adam, we know he's falling down the hill and he just keeps falling.

Luciano (03:43.13)
Yeah.

Chris (03:44.663)
Grrrr

Chris (03:52.161)
Oh god.

Luciano (03:52.854)
Oh, I hated that so much.

Chris (03:54.75)
It cringed for me. Yes, yes.

Luciano (03:57.974)
Yeah.

Yeah, like you can physically tell he's like forcing to continue rolling. Yeah.

Spencer (04:05.191)
Yeah, it's like forcing the momentum. He felt on like three and I was like, wow, that's a long fall. And then like the way it's shot, it like the stairs come out from behind the camera so you don't know there's another steps. And I think it happened like two more times. And I was like, Jesus Christ. Well, that was an amazing shot. It was really like clearly great stunt work, but it had me laughing quite hard. So that was my second favorite part of the movie.

Chris (04:06.102)
Yes. No, thank you.

Luciano (04:18.902)
Yeah, yes. He rolled all the way down. Yeah.

Chris (04:25.036)
Yes.

Chris (04:33.846)
My favorite part was actually the opening set piece at Koji's hotel. I loved... Well, whatever. I said what I fucking said.

Luciano (04:42.394)
So not the opening.

Matt (04:47.288)
Did you even watch this movie, Chris?

Spencer (04:48.94)
Oh, yes, not me

Luciano (04:51.222)
The opening after 35 minutes of movie.

Chris (04:52.522)
I say what I fucking said. Yeah, fuck the rest of that. Anyways, yeah, Akira and Koji's hotel. I loved being somewhere else for a change. Different color palette, different approach, different everything. And then Donnie Yen's cane walking into that and his presence and then the fucking nunchucks. Yes, please all day every day. Yeah.

Spencer (04:54.934)
The fourth opening.

Luciano (05:04.055)
Yeah.

Spencer (05:16.009)
Yeah.

Yeah, it felt like a different movie for a sec. There's no John Wick for a while, and I'm like, this is cool. I think I like that movie more too. I was like.

Luciano (05:20.634)
Yeah.

Chris (05:22.354)
I like that movie more. Oh yes.

Luciano (05:26.227)
Oh no. Oh no. How about you, Matt?

Matt (05:26.241)
Yeah. All right, Mel Gibson, have I got a show for you?

Spencer (05:30.591)
Yeah.

Chris (05:31.182)
Same on you.

Luciano (05:33.634)
How about you, Matt? What was your favorite part?

Matt (05:35.941)
I mean, I think for me, the thing I enjoyed about this is, well, the movie was long at times. So many actors, action stars, classic action stars got real screen time to do their thing, which was really enjoyable to watch, you know. Some of them got shot instantaneously, fuck you for killing Lance that way, movie.

Chris (05:44.142)
stairs.

Luciano (05:58.626)
My boy don't kill my baby kill my baby boy

Chris (06:01.25)
Yeah, that was, that was wrong.

Matt (06:02.185)
They killed our beautiful boy, which is a... I think this was his last movie before he actually passed. Or maybe he did some Destiny stuff, not that it's a movie. Anyways, it's... Yeah, but it was frustrating to see him in a movie and be like, alright, we get to see Lance one more time, and it's just like, the Mucky just used him for no reason.

Luciano (06:07.524)
Yeah.

Spencer (06:12.231)
I think he has more voice work coming out.

Luciano (06:14.17)
Yeah.

Luciano (06:19.799)
immediately a bastard.

Chris (06:21.546)
It was just like Rebel Moon in that sense, like they killed the wrong guy.

Matt (06:25.529)
Wow, don't invoke Rebel Moon in this podcast.

Luciano (06:25.63)
Yeah.

Spencer (06:27.807)
Yeah.

Chris (06:28.938)
But it's to say both committed the same crime.

Matt (06:32.639)
No, Rebel Moon committed way more crimes than this movie ever will.

Spencer (06:35.129)
Okay. Yeah.

Luciano (06:36.114)
More egregious crimes. Fair enough.

Chris (06:36.342)
It's not about how many, it's the fact that they commit the same crime.

Matt (06:39.657)
I don't get Rebel Moon out your mouth. We're talking about John Wick 4. But other actors I enjoyed, you know, like Clancy Brown is pretty old at this point, but it's nice to see him just being evil and malevolent. And but like he just he has that voice.

Spencer (06:41.843)
Hehehehe

Luciano (06:42.519)
Hahaha!

Chris (06:51.915)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (06:52.122)
Yeah, he wasn't actually, he was... yeah, I was disappointed. I wanted to see him be more Clancy Brown-ish.

Chris (06:57.719)
What? Oh.

I want my money! Mr. you didn't see you weren't paying attention

Luciano (07:02.69)
Maybe not like that, but yeah.

Spencer (07:03.729)
What? When did he do that?

Matt (07:08.313)
uh...

Luciano (07:09.055)
I thought it was going to be more evil.

Spencer (07:09.711)
Oh no, he's, oh, because he has the voice of Mr. Krabs. That's what the reference was. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.

Chris (07:13.218)
Yes.

Matt (07:13.793)
Yeah, yeah, okay. I mean, he's one of the most, we'll call him, decorated character voice actors. Like, he's done everything. But he's also in everything, right? Like, obviously, Kiergen, he's the classic from Highlander. Which is an interesting thing to bring up here because the director of these movies, Chad Sapinski, is making a Highlander movie with Superman, Henry Cavill.

Luciano (07:21.089)
Oh, yeah, yeah.

Spencer (07:22.822)
Yeah.

Chris (07:23.051)
Yeah.

Luciano (07:25.286)
Yeah, the villain from Highlander.

Chris (07:27.67)
Yeah.

Chris (07:34.83)
cavo, hopefully. Knock on wood.

Spencer (07:37.479)
We'll see.

Luciano (07:37.99)
Ooh interesting, I didn't know that. Is he gonna bring Clancy Brown as Korgan again?

Matt (07:39.029)
Yeah, yeah, see if that happens. Who knows? But yeah, so.

Yes, I'm sure that'll go over fine, even though he's dead. It's fine. Um, I'm not going to include Bill Skarsgard in this. Um, he could have not existed for me and that would have been fine.

Chris (07:55.374)
Please don't.

Luciano (07:57.498)
The most... the Swedish-ish Frenchman in the history of space and time. I liked him but I didn't believe in him as a Frenchman for a second.

Matt (08:03.181)
I like Bill, but not for this.

Spencer (08:04.176)
Yeah, I like him too.

No, no, no. I was really excited. I saw him in the trailer. No, no, I saw him in the trailer, but I forgot. And then when I was watching it, he comes out and I was like, oh yeah, cool. Bill Skirsker did that. He's so good as a villain. And then he spoke with that accent right away. I was like, nah, why you gotta do me like that? Why you gotta do me like that? Or he doesn't good American accents.

Luciano (08:21.338)
Just why, why did he have to be French? Just make him Swedish, it's fine. Yeah.

Matt (08:30.421)
It's fine, they call, like, just because you call him the maquis doesn't mean he has to actually be French. Right?

Luciano (08:35.722)
Yeah, he could just be the marquee and then his name was some Swedish name, Svensson.

Matt (08:40.097)
Sure, whatever, the whole high tables lies. Yeah, that's also an option. I think there's a couple floating around Hollywood. But just to finish this off, I just wanna hit, obviously we saw Donnie Yen, which is great to see him reprise his role from Star Wars in this movie.

Spencer (08:41.815)
Or if you want a French guy, hire a French actor.

Luciano (08:45.098)
Or hire a French actor, that's another choice, yeah. Yeah.

Chris (08:49.343)
Yep. Tons.

Luciano (08:53.988)
Yeah.

Spencer (08:54.327)
He was great.

Luciano (08:56.702)
I was going to say, did he need... Like, I was so upset that I was like, oh, he's... Yeah. I wish he had done that. Nothing wrong. Wrong movie. Yeah. But I don't... Why did he have to be blind? Like, I don't...

Chris (08:57.704)
AHAHAHAHAHA

Spencer (09:01.115)
I'm with the force when the force is with me. I am with the force when the force is with me. What did you say? Nothing? Whoops.

Chris (09:02.967)
Mm-hmm.

Matt (09:04.104)
Yeah.

Matt (09:14.949)
Because we'll get into that, because it's Jungwook 4. And then Hiroki Sonata, obviously, as Koji.

Spencer (09:17.961)
Yeah, because of tropes

Luciano (09:18.552)
Yeah.

Chris (09:22.67)
Mm-hmm, koji. Loved him.

Luciano (09:24.074)
Yeah, probably my favorite like new character in this. I love this character even though he was there for a very short amount of time.

Spencer (09:25.199)
Obviously would have liked him and more.

Chris (09:33.031)
opening movie oh sequence of the movie

Matt (09:33.205)
Yep. The opening of the movie, apparently. Chris didn't like that Lance Rodeck scene so much, he just forgot it was ever in the movie.

Luciano (09:36.89)
hahahaha

Chris (09:38.439)
Gosh.

Luciano (09:41.463)
Yeah, I understand. I understand.

Spencer (09:42.275)
Yeah, I also I also don't like when like he died not a lense right a coachy Just because I was like wait why it just seemed like they could have not Fought everybody it could have easily just been like good job. We got here and just say he's not here Maybe I mean it's his hotel sure he could you know get him out without causing a big scene

Luciano (09:48.25)
Koji.

Chris (09:48.425)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (10:00.183)
Yeah.

Chris (10:06.422)
Get him out.

Luciano (10:07.042)
But he was like, he was like, oh, but you know, French, like he says, friendship is nothing if it when it's convenient, right? I think it was.

Spencer (10:12.847)
No, he could have helped John Wick, but what did he actually do for John Wick in that part? He fought and then John Wick just left, but it didn't really do anything for him. It would have been the same if he just got him out of the building. And yeah. So I was just like, I was just like, I thought he was going to cause he said right away. He was like, we need to search your place. And he's like, of course. Like he was like, I'm going to help. I thought they were going to do something sneaky there. And then he just died. And I was like, yeah, you didn't have to die.

Luciano (10:17.654)
I see, I see what you mean. Yeah, because he left and people were still going after him the whole time. That's true. He died for nothing.

Luciano (10:33.806)
The table, yeah.

Chris (10:35.446)
Yeah. Mm-hmm.

Matt (10:37.501)
Yeah, I mean, it's tough because it's not his fault John Wick showed up and the marquee was just like, go burn that place down, right? Because the Spanish guy was just like, you're done. It's already been, what do they call it? Deconsecrated. So they deconsecrated the Osaka Hotel like they were already planning on it no matter what happened, right? Yeah.

Spencer (10:46.291)
Kill everybody.

Luciano (10:46.51)
No, but, but I think-

Luciano (10:54.266)
the consecrated, yeah.

Chris (10:54.402)
Condemned? Oh, oh.

Spencer (11:03.561)
Oh did they say that? That's just... Yeah, I did.

Luciano (11:04.822)
Yeah, they did. Cause he says, he says when, you know, any business, you can't conduct any business here, including your business here. So give me the guns. And he was like, no. And it was like, yeah, then you're not going anywhere. So then this is not a hotel anymore because they were already planning it for sure. Yeah. But like, I agree with Spencer. He didn't, like he didn't, his death didn't achieve anything other than give us a stinger at the end of the movie, really.

Chris (11:05.89)
Did you see the movie? Maybe. Hehehehe

Matt (11:07.449)
Did you watch the movie, Spencer?

Matt (11:17.795)
Yeah.

Matt (11:23.035)
Yeah.

Spencer (11:24.143)
That seems like...

Spencer (11:31.179)
The sweet character arc of his daughter. So sweet.

Luciano (11:33.726)
Oh, I forgot. I forgot completely about her the moment she was out of the picture. And then when I saw this thing, I was like, oh, shit, that's right. She said if you don't kill him, I will.

Spencer (11:44.975)
Yeah, oh yeah, this girl. Cinematic Universe. She gonna be the next Iron Man?

Luciano (11:47.751)
Yeah.

Matt (11:49.441)
Hey, I mean, at least this movie passed the Bechtel test? Barely.

Chris (11:51.694)
Thanks, Kill Bill.

Luciano (11:57.29)
It did. Kinda. Wait, no. Are there two women talking to each other? No, there isn't. It did not pass the Bechtel test at all. Yeah. Ha ha ha. Yeah.

Matt (12:03.782)
So no, did not. All right, well, it didn't pass then.

Fair enough. Um, you know, it's... I mean I think the challenge with this movie is... I don't know, so let me ask you guys, is the challenge with this movie that they want to show too many set pieces? Or that none of the... What's weaker than thread?

Spencer (12:31.035)
Weaker than the red. Ssss-

Luciano (12:32.264)
Wicked in a thread. Like a like a like a wisp of smoke. Right. Well, they're fraying threads at best, right?

Chris (12:33.002)
Marquis will influence to have John Wick killed.

Matt (12:33.125)
I

Matt (12:37.693)
Yeah, I want to connect the threads, like the plot points, but they're clearly not with threads.

Spencer (12:46.399)
They're like, it's like a strand of saliva.

Luciano (12:49.782)
Yeah, I like spider silk.

Matt (12:51.077)
gross.

Spencer (12:51.591)
like gravity itself will pull it nose, cause that will hold. Saliva will just wouldn't pull it apart. It just becomes droplets. Let, ha

Luciano (12:58.902)
I mean, I tried. I tried to bring some class into this. It's spit. It's threads of spit, Matt. That's what this is. This is where we are

Chris (12:59.426)
Keep it going, let him cook.

Matt (13:06.025)
I'm sorry. What fun facts do we have for people this week so I can get out of this? Oh, fuck. Even worse. But, you know, like I said, the fact that they're just trying to show off one to action pieces or the fact that the movie just, before they used to be like, hey, there's some cool things for you to think about is how this world works. And now it's just like, wait, huh?

Spencer (13:15.31)
Saliva facts. Even that's the worst.

Luciano (13:17.958)
Hehehehe

Matt (13:34.637)
That doesn't make any sense. How would that work?

Chris (13:36.654)
Shiny objects!

Luciano (13:36.814)
I think it's both Matt, because like we've all said a couple of times, and I think we're going to say a couple more times, this movie did not need to be three hours long at all. Exactly. And a lot of it is because not only are the fight scenes too long, but also they're in slow motion because Keanu Reeves is old. And they try to explain. It's like a lost effect for me.

Spencer (13:45.975)
It had no right being this long.

Luciano (14:05.198)
Like Lost was fun. Like John Wick, the first John Wick has a bunch of mysteries. Why are the coins? Why does the continental? And they don't expand on it. And we always say, Oh, this is a great way of putting in a mystery that is just mysterious for its sake and it doesn't have to be explained. And now, especially on the third and the fourth night, now in the fourth movie, they try to explain it, but then add, they explain one thing and try to add two more mysteries on top of it and it just unravels. So I think it's both of those things that you said. It tries.

to do too much action and then thread the split thread, the saliva trail between one and the other of the set pieces and it just fails at that. So.

Chris (14:39.874)
Bit.

Spencer (14:47.375)
Yeah. Well, you think about the first movie, it's like a story, although the story is super simple, it's something that the audience connects with his dog gets murdered and he wants revenge. So it's a classic like revenge story. So you're, you're following along and you see you have a motive and it's emotional. He's dealing with his wife's death and all that. And there's continental and all that stuff is like background. It's like the setting whereas

Matt (15:00.825)
Right?

Luciano (15:10.727)
Yeah. It makes you go like, ooh, interesting. But like, it doesn't, right? Yeah, it just, yeah.

Spencer (15:14.503)
It's not the story, it's just like the setting of the story. Whereas now that all that stuff has become the story. It's like, it's no longer about motivations of a character. It's like, I got to survive the assassination of the continental, the high table and we've got to get your coin into your slot so you can have a piece of the ticket that gets you to the underground layer of gold that'll open up the cage.

Luciano (15:22.969)
Yeah.

Luciano (15:36.305)
Hahaha!

Luciano (15:41.802)
Yeah, that's what I mean when I think the essence of Nicola. Man, Nicolas Cage in this movie would have been amazing. I don't care what he had to play. Yeah. But like, that's what I mean when I say it's like trying to explain too much by adding more mysteries, like, okay, now we know about the coin and the mark and then, oh, but there's a tracker. What is a tracker? They don't explain it. What is a harbinger? They don't explain it. What is the old ways? They don't explain it. What is the contract and why is the second like it's

Chris (15:42.206)
Nicolas Cage.

Spencer (15:44.051)
Nicholas Cage! He's the key!

Matt (15:44.453)
Hehehehehehe

Spencer (15:50.619)
It could work.

Matt (16:08.805)
I mean, do you need them to explain what a tracker does?

Spencer (16:09.951)
Did you forget? You forgot your keychain!

Luciano (16:12.786)
No, you don't. But like they try to explain one thing that is like just a name or a title or whatever with three others. And they just live it. You can't do that. Like if you're going to explain then explain or don't explain anything.

Chris (16:23.648)
It's-

It's just throwing, it's too many things and throwing a bunch of things at the, at the audience. It just becomes fodder. It just becomes screen and ear fodder. And it's like, okay, there's this thing. Is it important? John, what's it? Wow. Clancy Brown just comes in, Harbinger makes warnings, makes threats, makes sandwiches.

Spencer (16:26.567)
Too many things.

Luciano (16:49.058)
puts a giant fucking hourglass on the table for whatever reason. Yeah.

Spencer (16:52.839)
Yeah, like, they have too many things. Did you bring your music box? It's like, they're like, we have one hour. He's like, well, I better take the hourglass hour. It's like, we have watches. Nope.

Matt (16:57.676)
You get one thing

Luciano (16:59.314)
Yeah, yeah.

Luciano (17:05.086)
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was like, no, it's two hours, not one hour. Oh, well, you can't use the hourglass then you have to use the giant music box that plays for two hours.

Chris (17:07.276)
Yeah.

Spencer (17:11.492)
Well...

Spencer (17:15.703)
Let me send a note to...

Chris (17:19.177)
The high table fasteners and artisans slaved to make these ornate instruments of rules and upholding processes and they must be used! We spent too much fucking money! We're the fucking hole! I'm broke! Nigga, I'm broke!

Luciano (17:27.866)
Yeah.

Spencer (17:35.263)
Hehehe

Luciano (17:38.994)
Imagine the nightmare that it is to be the high tables quartermaster. Like, okay, how many hours do they have? An hour and a half. Fuck. Now I'm gonna have to find something that counts an hour and a half. Oh shit.

Spencer (17:45.759)
I heard 45 actually god damn it

Chris (17:46.378)
Hmm

Matt (17:52.197)
But the, but so he needs a one giant hourglass. That's the hour. And then one that's half the size for a half an hour. No, no, you gotta have one for each. Just slightly smaller.

Luciano (17:56.438)
Yeah, and then like, no, like an egg timer for half an hour. No, but that's the thing. No, it's a different thing for each. Because they have a lot of different things.

Matt (18:08.377)
What happened to YesSans? I hate this. I hate this.

Spencer (18:08.695)
Listen, we're blowing past our hourglass financial department. Okay, we're blow past our quarterly amounts. We've been spending too much on hourglass But there's just

Luciano (18:16.639)
The hourglass budget is blown!

Chris (18:21.678)
How do you spend $55 million on hourglasses? Winston! Harbinger! Harbinger department! Make this make sense! Uh, eggnomeny, eggpack, two days, and a speeder tools, subway sandwiches, Jared.

Luciano (18:25.242)
Well that scent is expensive sir!

Spencer (18:28.679)
Why are we doing so-

Spencer (18:33.216)
What?

Matt (18:38.413)
This does explain why they had to shut down all these hotels. They just couldn't afford to operate them.

Luciano (18:42.378)
Yeah.

Spencer (18:42.551)
Yeah. Well, they're like, why are we doing so much branding? We're supposed to be a secret organization. We've got our own coins. We have so much merch. Don't forget your continental. Yeah.

Luciano (18:47.806)
Yeah, that's true Swag it's not much it's swag like when you join the secret society you get this swag bag Look, weren't you supposed to hide? I was supposed to hide me when you work for the marquee. Here's a brooch

Chris (18:50.686)
Yeah, there's only so much

Matt (18:54.719)
Yeah.

Spencer (18:59.341)
Did you get your gold coins?

Chris (18:59.906)
Have you?

Matt (19:05.818)
You get your Marquee brooch, you get your Marquee water bottle, get a Marquee notebook, Marquee pen, Marquee backpack, some stickers for your laptop.

Luciano (19:08.838)
Yeah, yeah. So basically, they said it was because the New York Continental had betrayed whatever, but it was really just cooking the books. Like, no, we don't have this hotel. We just claimed the insurance money because it exploded.

Spencer (19:09.252)
Yeah, solid gold!

Chris (19:11.249)
Mm-hmm. Backpacks, yeah. Notebooks.

Spencer (19:15.527)
Heheheheheheh

Matt (19:29.537)
Yeah, and then they go up to the marquee and he's like, fuck, we still haven't saved enough. Shut down the Osaka one, that's the most expensive. It's the most profitable, I don't care. We gotta cut the bottom line. So the shareholders are asking for.

Chris (19:30.221)
Hahaha!

Luciano (19:36.523)
Yeah.

Spencer (19:38.249)
Yeah. Sir, we have, we've got hourglasses to make. Shut it down! That's our only income!

Luciano (19:44.202)
Ha ha!

Chris (19:47.902)
Sir, maybe we should stop hiring assassins because clearly they don't seem to be effective to take down John Wick. Shut up, you! You're fired! Your department is fired! I'm tired of these logistics! I want results! Lay them off!

Luciano (19:53.63)
No! More assassins!

Spencer (19:55.871)
wha-

Spencer (20:03.535)
We're spending 20 million dollars a hit and we're hitting our own men every time. We're not killing anybody, we're paying for our own assassins.

Luciano (20:07.934)
Yeah.

Matt (20:10.775)
Okay.

Chris (20:10.954)
Who let you in? Who let you in the boardroom? Out with you! Don't let the door hit you with that!

Luciano (20:14.859)
Yeah.

Spencer (20:14.983)
I want 20 million on John Wick, 10 million on the Harbinger, I want 20 million, these are all our men! Listen, I want 15 million on the Geek Squad!

Matt (20:15.301)
See that's.

Luciano (20:17.602)
That's...

Chris (20:21.166)
I'm going to go to bed.

Hmm. Hmm-hmm.

Spencer (20:28.215)
What kind of logic is this? This business model. I want fifty thousand dollars on that guy's dog. That's how we got started in the first place!

Matt (20:35.889)
Hahaha

Luciano (20:37.095)
No, no. And like, if you know, if you notice all of the scenes with the marquee, he's always in like some grand place with a bunch of food or whatever, and like a million guards and he just like he eats half of a brownie or whatever, and just puts it on the table.

Matt (20:45.347)
Yeah.

Chris (20:45.442)
Yes?

Chris (20:50.658)
He's watching, he's sponsoring like the Marseille women's equestrian team. He's standing in their presence as they prance around him and he conducts meetings within the equestrian practice. Like pick a side dude, like are you serious?

Luciano (20:58.642)
Yeah, what was that? What was that?

Luciano (21:07.618)
Yeah. That's true. I forgot about that. Like, why?

Spencer (21:09.395)
Well he was gonna buy those horses and have them assassinated. For ten million dollars a head. It's called business.

Luciano (21:15.881)
Ha ha

Chris (21:16.883)
Yeah.

Matt (21:17.486)
No, they're taking over. Look, we gotta pay a horse. You don't have to pay them gold coins. It's one carat, way cheaper. All the assassins are horses.

Luciano (21:25.526)
Yeah, no, yeah, no, no. Yeah.

Spencer (21:28.408)
I'll just have to go. Done and done. Sir, this business model makes no sense. I will pay to have you assassinated, and then pay to have the assassin who assassinated you assassinated if you don't shut your mouth! Kyle? Yeah. I'll just lay down with Kyle. Ten million dollars on Kyle!

Chris (21:37.23)
This is how much power I wield? Yeah.

Matt (21:37.273)
What's your name? What's your name, Kyle? I want a million dollars in Kyle. Right now.

Chris (21:44.291)
He's up.

Luciano (21:46.587)
Call to the tattooed switchboard brigade and put...

Chris (21:48.898)
Hmm.

Matt (21:50.319)
Yeah, it'll take about 20 minutes to get that money put on Kyle, so he's got time.

Spencer (21:52.255)
Yeah, like have they ever assassinated a target that's not within the organization in any of the movies Like I've never been like we have to assassinate this diplomat hired by another like or it's always like I want you to kill Jimmy down in the basement. He's because of trouble 50 million dollars Exactly he failed

Chris (21:55.17)
EZO

Luciano (21:59.705)
No.

Matt (22:00.908)
Um...

Luciano (22:09.716)
Yeah, what did he do? Well, he was supposed to kill Johnny, but he didn't. Yeah.

Matt (22:15.845)
Technically in the first movie, killing what's his face and all his family, they were not part of the high table. If I'm not mistaken.

Chris (22:16.27)
You're supposed to...

Luciano (22:22.97)
True, the guy that says, Baba Yaga. Yeah, yeah.

Spencer (22:23.687)
Which family? Oh yeah.

Matt (22:26.005)
Yeah, that's the last time he killed anybody not part of the high table. And then everything.

Spencer (22:30.639)
No, but that wasn't for the that wasn't that was for revenge

Luciano (22:33.592)
Yeah.

Matt (22:33.801)
Right, but everybody else they've killed is part of the high table.

Spencer (22:36.655)
No, I'm saying what is the high table organ that like what where are they making their money is my question Like who's paying them to assassinate someone if they're only assessing their own people

Matt (22:40.124)
Oh.

Luciano (22:40.922)
That is a good question. Like, what?

Chris (22:45.026)
The high table explicitly makes their revenue in Bitcoin, stamps, Home Depot, NFTs, Home Depot, NFTs, and...

Spencer (22:51.726)
Smart.

Matt (22:53.425)
NFTs.

Spencer (22:54.733)
Hehehe

Luciano (22:57.918)
Table coin. They have table coin. Yeah.

Spencer (22:58.039)
Yeah, those aren't those aren't caught. There's no comma there. It's it's home depot NFTs. They're not separate. Yeah, I got you

Chris (23:02.102)
That's the, I said what I said what I said. And then, and then caricatures of everyone's favorite, everyone's favorite Dutch Halloween figurines that go on lawns, like the Dutch Halloween gnomes. Little known fact, little known fact.

Matt (23:02.315)
Yeah.

Spencer (23:19.367)
That's a big business.

Luciano (23:22.042)
Well, all of that and merch, right? Clearly.

Matt (23:22.425)
Chris, I don't wanna stop you guys here, but we're gonna dive into the hot table a little bit later. So let's, I don't know if it's an actual table. We'll talk about it. We'll figure it out. Let's go back to this movie because there's still, there's still tables. Yeah, you know those tables you set up at like the kitchen, like at the church for the little like,

Spencer (23:29.32)
Okay, sorry, sorry.

Luciano (23:30.108)
Hahaha! Swear, that's fair.

Chris (23:30.498)
Dive in and on, under if you need to.

Luciano (23:33.2)
That's fair.

Luciano (23:36.75)
Hahaha

Chris (23:37.102)
Shit.

Spencer (23:39.552)
That's where the money comes from, they sell tables! It all makes sense, they sell high tables!

Luciano (23:43.418)
They sell high tables! Hahahaha!

Chris (23:46.35)
Structube?

Luciano (23:51.267)
Basically, it's the most lucrative standing desk business in the world. That's what they have. There you go.

Spencer (23:51.308)
Yeah, like the pews.

Matt (23:52.694)
Yeah.

Spencer (23:57.571)
It all makes sense.

Matt (23:59.617)
Anyway, so let's talk about the rest of this movie before we get into the high table. Because there are some other parts of this movie that also challenge the mind. There's a part in the movie where John is told by Ian McShane that he should challenge the marquee. I don't care what his name is. Winston. Whatever. He's going to challenge the marquee to...

Luciano (24:11.514)
Hahaha

Luciano (24:20.558)
Winston.

That's not what I was doing. Anyway.

Matt (24:28.961)
a duel and that solves the problem which first question he said he was gonna kill them all but the marquee is just a special deputized agent from the high table to kill John Wick so like John Wick never fulfills his plan of destroying the high table

Luciano (24:29.175)
A duel.

Luciano (24:37.22)
Yeah.

Luciano (24:41.072)
Yeah.

Chris (24:41.24)
Yeah.

Luciano (24:46.622)
Yeah, I think I yeah, the point was like, oh, you're never going to destroy them. And then he goes, can I be rid of them? And then, you know, Winston says, yes. And he goes, all right, then he's tired, man. He's he's tired. I know. No.

Chris (24:46.849)
Nope.

Matt (24:57.697)
He was already rid of them after the first movie.

Spencer (25:00.755)
Do we ever see the high table in this entire franchise?

Chris (25:02.605)
Nope.

Matt (25:03.449)
The closest we get is Clancy.

Luciano (25:05.334)
Yeah. No, yeah, we never do. We see the harbinger, which we don't even know if he's like part of the high table or just a servant of the high table. I don't even know. Yeah, and I don't even think the marquee is like part of the high table itself.

Chris (25:08.726)
Biggest letdown.

Matt (25:15.529)
I assume we use the mouthpiece for the high table.

Spencer (25:22.963)
The high table is just chat GPT. What should we do?

Matt (25:23.131)
No, I-

Chris (25:27.83)
Hmm. Neat, not neat, not neat.

Luciano (25:28.133)
That would actually make some sense because it's like you can make some dumb decisions

Spencer (25:32.703)
How do we increase our table sales?

Matt (25:32.963)
I actually think the closest we get is the guy John what kills the actual beginning of the movie

Luciano (25:35.36)
Hahaha.

Chris (25:41.09)
The Elder?

Luciano (25:41.222)
So here's the thing, if you remember from John Wick 3, they say that the elder is the only one who sits above the high table. Yeah, that's what they say. Exactly.

Matt (25:42.578)
Yeah. I don't.

Matt (25:52.141)
Yeah, man.

Spencer (25:53.415)
What a cool setup to have not paid off.

Chris (25:56.886)
And they killed him like, not only could they, like not even the actor from Wic Parabellum didn't reprise his role as the elder in number four. Like I was like, who the hell is that?

Matt (25:57.292)
Ugh.

Luciano (26:04.254)
Yeah, I was a different guy. I was very confused.

Matt (26:07.149)
He was already killed. They covered that by saying even the guy who was here before me. So he was killed. It's fine. Problem solved.

Spencer (26:13.915)
Listen, don't you get it? You got the elder, then you got the abdicator, then you got the high table, then underneath the high table you got the count, who's the guy who runs the hotels? The congressman? Ha ha ha. No, the manager, then you got the concierge, then you got.

Luciano (26:24.154)
The... the... the man... the manager?

Matt (26:25.293)
Congressman what? The manager.

Chris (26:28.117)
The Contest gator the bookie

Matt (26:31.189)
Yeah. But the harbinger is, is to the left of the high table. Right. He's, he's not, yeah. It's a little family tree.

Spencer (26:36.507)
Of course, if you look at this simple graph, it all makes sense. Then you...

Luciano (26:36.773)
Right.

Chris (26:39.882)
What's the orange chart look like for the gosh darn high table?

Luciano (26:40.618)
Hahaha

Matt (26:43.405)
We'll get there, stop. We're not talking about the high table now, guys. We're talking about murder and John Wick.

Chris (26:46.346)
I don't know, sorry.

Spencer (26:49.616)
Right? Okay, you gotta narrow that down!

Matt (26:52.741)
Okay, it is his movie. I was asking, yeah, it is. No, but I was asking about John Wick and his plans or the Marquis plans. I don't know, but like, so the shooting, they wanna do the duel. And so John Wick's gotta get back in the family, right? So he can be part of, so we understand that the High Table's a collection of families, allegedly. And he got kicked out of his family and he's gotta go back to

Luciano (26:53.1)
Yeah.

Chris (26:53.164)
Well shit.

Chris (26:58.174)
Is it?

Chris (27:13.773)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (27:14.638)
Yeah.

Luciano (27:19.626)
Yeah, for... yeah, his ticket got torn, whatever that means.

Matt (27:22.489)
to Germany.

Right. That happened like the second movie. He traded a favor to get a stick and torn. Don't worry about it. Not important to this movie. But then he goes and does something and he fails or he wins? I couldn't tell. I guess he kills the guy. Yeah.

Spencer (27:25.603)
Oh, he has tickets.

Chris (27:25.902)
True.

Luciano (27:28.394)
Yeah.

Chris (27:28.622)
True. Yep.

Luciano (27:36.63)
No, he wins. Yeah, because Katya says, you know, kill the guy who killed my father and then I'll take you in. And he...

Matt (27:43.765)
right. But Donnie N shows up for reasons and...

Luciano (27:47.542)
Yeah, that whole scene, I thought it was gonna be like some twist. It was like, oh, because I thought, you know, when he goes and almost gets like hanged by his family, and she goes, bring me proof that you killed the guy who killed my father, then I'll instation the family. I thought, okay, here's the side quest that enables the main quest. That's what I thought. And then he gets there and Donnie Anne is there. I'm like, oh, an actual twist.

Chris (27:47.585)
Yeah.

Chris (28:00.846)
Correct. Yup.

Luciano (28:12.97)
not like, ooh, the concierge at Osaka and the daughter of the manager is the same people, who would have thought, right? Yeah. So, but then that whole scene was so weird because then the tracker shows up and then they play poker for whatever reason. They play poker. They play poker with a guy who was clearly like manipulating the cards right when they walk in. Yeah. And he was

Chris (28:21.386)
Mind blown.

Chris (28:26.959)
Uh huh.

Spencer (28:27.807)
I felt like a fever dream. That whole section felt like a fever dream.

Spencer (28:35.727)
Oh yeah, and he got five, he got five tooth. Wow, you good playing.

Matt (28:38.748)
Yeah

Luciano (28:40.946)
He was manipulating the cards and clearly is good at that. And then nobody checks the thing that he sends cards to a blind man who apparently can tell what the cards are. I guess they are in Braille somewhere, somehow. And then they all play and it's like he everybody loses any. And I was like, what did you guys think was going to happen if you let the fucking cheater who was playing around with the cards?

Matt (28:45.869)
Yeah.

Chris (28:55.618)
Hmm.

Spencer (28:57.287)
Oh, didn't, yeah, that was a missed opportunity to be like.

Chris (29:00.662)
That's a...

Spencer (29:07.318)
No.

Luciano (29:07.61)
Just deal without everybody cutting, without anybody doing anything. And then.

Spencer (29:11.591)
What cards do you have? My cards have... I have five I win cards.

Luciano (29:15.05)
Yeah, which one do you want? And then John Wick slices his neck with a card is like how fucking sharp are those cards? Yeah, that whole scene makes no fucking sense. I thought it was going to be a twist. I thought it was going to be oh, these guys are going to bend up against the high table.

Chris (29:23.374)
Gambit, gambit.

Spencer (29:25.96)
I respect that.

Matt (29:33.689)
See, that's the ultimate twist.

Spencer (29:35.495)
that there is no twist.

Luciano (29:36.718)
They never do. There's no twist.

Matt (29:38.541)
They twisted you so far around, you were back where you started.

Luciano (29:44.427)
They did a 360 and continued, is that what you're saying? Okay.

Chris (29:49.026)
Jerry on top. I don't understand how a gold tooth justifies proof of the kill. I thought he was going to decapitate the guy. Maybe, but like that could have come from a failed contestant from a hip hop show. Not really.

Luciano (29:53.446)
Truths?

I thought he was going to remove the whole grill, right?

Luciano (30:02.188)
Anyone.

Crown?

Luciano (30:11.171)
Ah, right, yeah.

Spencer (30:12.959)
That was a stretch. Hip hop show contestant. What, what hip hop reality show is this?

Luciano (30:14.494)
Yeah, I thought you were going somewhere.

Matt (30:18.844)
A hip hop television program.

Chris (30:22.29)
Reality TV, yes.

Matt (30:24.829)
Yeah, they could have like it's funny they spent all this time making everything such an intricate detail, right? They couldn't even give him anything more than a generic gold toothed like they could have put like a diamond or a ruby or something in that makes it semi unique, right? So let me show it is Work too

Spencer (30:36.615)
You should have brought him his fat suit. Here, I got him.

Chris (30:40.033)
Yeah.

Luciano (30:41.198)
What? Are you saying the guy wasn't actually fat?

Spencer (30:43.795)
And that would have been a cooler twist. It's all, it's all an act.

Matt (30:43.981)
Well, he looks fat to me. Okay, so let's, I do wanna talk more about this movie, but I think the only way to really do that is to dive into some of the plot holes. And dear listeners, we understand that, as the saliva has told us somehow, not a lot of plot holes in this movie because there's not a lot of plot. And so we're trying our best here to come up with some stuff that, well, it's a little plot hole-y, but it's more just things

Spencer (30:54.835)
some of the nitty gritty.

Luciano (31:00.602)
Hahaha!

Luciano (31:12.622)
head scratcher? Yeah.

Matt (31:13.921)
we just need to explain what, someone needs to explain what's going on. And so like the first step here comes, I think when John gets back in the family, and the little, that little telephone exchange system, they keep jacking up the price of the, yeah, the switchboard, yeah, thank you. They keep jacking up the price of the bounty on John Wick, right? Five, 10, 20, 40, whatever. But when he's back in the system, he's back part of a family, as far as I understand.

Chris (31:30.457)
Switchboard.

Luciano (31:36.206)
Yeah.

Matt (31:44.097)
He's now no longer excommunicado, in which case they shouldn't be putting hits out on him. But they continue the hit and continue jacking up the price. And well, even if the marquee is sort of abusing his power, like the whole structure of the movie, all four of them, are built on this idea that the table has rules of law.

Luciano (31:50.295)
Yeah.

Chris (31:54.934)
Is this a marquee power again?

Luciano (31:56.758)
No, it doesn't make any sense, right?

Matt (32:12.409)
and that might be old and that might be dumb, but there are rules of law that everybody must follow. If you don't follow the rules, you die, basically. And so, why all of a sudden, the high table's just like, I understood the high table gave the job to the marquee because it's just like, ah, it's a pain in the ass. Yeah, you wanna deal with it, that's fine. But when he starts breaking the rules of the high table, shouldn't Clancy Brown cap his ass or like, I just don't understand how this works.

Chris (32:12.652)
Yeah.

Luciano (32:17.102)
You got fucked. Yeah.

Luciano (32:34.67)
Yeah, to me that made no To me that it would make no sense was like okay. You're back in the family We accept the dual the harbinger is there and then and then the marquee says oh, I don't think he's gonna make it I was like, oh he's gonna make some like Secret deals like going around no He just called the switchboard operators the tattooed switchboard operators and said hike up the price Everybody was just fucking okay with it

Spencer (32:59.909)
Did the offer ever go down, go off?

Matt (33:03.672)
No.

Luciano (33:04.243)
No, it should have. I think that's the whole point.

Matt (33:06.209)
Yeah, he jacks it up the night of the night because he has the duel, they end up picking, what is it dawn, I think? Sunrise at the cathedral. And so he just jacks up the price so that he can't make it to the top of the mountain before sunrise.

Luciano (33:11.719)
sunrise. Yeah, yeah.

Chris (33:12.278)
Yeah, see ya later.

Spencer (33:14.707)
Listen.

Luciano (33:20.175)
the stairs.

Spencer (33:20.243)
Listen, the high table has got a business to run, okay? And they gotta make money. And if that involves spending $40 million to assassinate their own assassins, that's what they'll do. Even if it goes against their own rules, because... Yes.

Chris (33:20.684)
Slutton.

Luciano (33:28.457)
haha

Chris (33:29.834)
Mm-hmm.

Matt (33:33.877)
Spencer, I have a question then, because you just want to talk about this and I'm fine with it because it comes into this overall thing. The overall conversation of how does this work? It's a very simple question. Who HiTable? What HiTable? Why HiTable? When HiTable? Where HiTable? And maybe how HiTable?

Luciano (33:45.676)
I knew it.

Spencer (33:46.638)
Heheheheheheh

Luciano (33:52.591)
I think how high table is the most important one.

Chris (33:55.394)
how high the ganja table.

Matt (33:55.754)
Pick which one you want.

Luciano (33:57.965)
Yeah.

Spencer (33:58.475)
I think they're...

I think they see every dollar they put into killing their own people as an investment. And that there'll be a return on that investment. Yeah, look how good we are. We kill the best assassins in the world.

Matt (34:10.826)
It's like advertising.

Luciano (34:12.965)
Ha ha

Matt (34:15.112)
Gotta spend money to make money.

Luciano (34:17.612)
Only we can kill the best assassins in the world, look!

Matt (34:20.025)
Yeah.

Spencer (34:20.983)
If you want one of our assassins killed, we're the ones for the job. Okay? Hehehehe.

Chris (34:25.167)
Mmm. Loyalty for the right price will break it.

Matt (34:26.934)
Oh, we can do it.

Luciano (34:28.203)
This is like this is like when like two brothers fight and like nobody else can beat the little brother except the big brother like you don't hit him I hit him yeah exactly yeah

Spencer (34:35.407)
Yeah, you coming after my men, you're going after my men. Nobody kills my men, but me and I paid top dollar. The high table, the whole thing of the high table, it just feels like it's like they have too much time on their hands, too much time and money on their hands. Cause they're like we said before, they're making all this merch. It feels like the rules they're making seems like something from like a, you know, when you play it's like a board game.

Chris (34:44.576)
Hmm

Luciano (34:51.702)
and money.

Spencer (35:04.483)
and it just more rules keep coming out. And it just like there's like one rule after the other. And then you're just like, wait a minute, but this was the point of this. This doesn't make any sense. That's like their rules. They seem like almost contradictory rules. And there's always like a there's always like a what's it called? Like a fine print that's like, oh, yeah, well, that rule you can break if you kill this guy.

Luciano (35:07.077)
Yeah.

Luciano (35:26.254)
Well, the high tables manual is like five pages of regular print and then 115 pages of small print in that sense, because it's all exceptions, right? It's all loopholes.

Matt (35:35.509)
Yeah, it's like.

Matt (35:39.557)
It's the US Constitution. They just keep adding amendments to solve problems. Just add an amendment. Oh, you gotta get rid of the marquee? Just add an amendment.

Luciano (35:46.893)
I see. So John, John wick, John wick is availed like, like sardonic criticism of the constitution of the United States. I see this.

Spencer (35:55.56)
So is.

Chris (35:55.766)
I claim the coup de grâce. I would like to step in and thank you, thank you, Cain, for doing all this work. I have come to put the final nail in the coffin. Like, fuck off, Marquis. You just let the man do his job.

Luciano (36:10.582)
Yeah, I... Like, I don't...

Matt (36:13.29)
Yes you deserve to die and I hope you burn in hell, Markey!

Chris (36:15.215)
I hope they burn it out!

Luciano (36:19.443)
I don't understand also like, so what exactly does the high table do? So like, is everybody under like the high table are the families and whatnot, or so we understand, but like, is everybody that worked for the high table that isn't a concierge or a manager or a harbinger or an adjudicator, are they all?

Chris (36:39.626)
or Sandwich Artisan.

Spencer (36:40.901)
Or an hour glass.

Luciano (36:42.13)
is everybody, an hourglass maker, is everybody else an assassin? And if so, do they assassinate anybody other than themselves?

Matt (36:43.878)
Hehehehehehe

Um.

Spencer (36:51.675)
Listen, I think I figured it out. I got it. In this John Wick universe, the high table is the government. There is no US government. It's just the high table is the US. They run the country. They take tax dollars.

Matt (36:53.994)
OK. Yeah.

Luciano (36:54.175)
Okay.

Chris (36:54.257)
Ahem. Ouroboros.

Luciano (36:58.862)
The WIC verse, so they say.

Matt (37:01.177)
John fucking Rickverse.

Luciano (37:06.126)
Oh, I see.

Luciano (37:11.714)
So this is like a cyberpunk sort of dystopic future. I see.

Spencer (37:15.707)
Yeah, exactly. And then they take...

Matt (37:16.857)
There was a lot of cyberpunk-ish music in this movie, just for the record. Yeah, yep. Yep.

Spencer (37:20.731)
So that only confirms that only confirms what I'm saying for some reason. And then. So they take they take they charge tax, they take their tax dollars of the people, pay assassins to assassinate other assassins. And that has a trickle down economics effect. And that money goes back into. The people, that's why they.

Luciano (37:20.826)
True, especially in the Osaka scenes, yeah.

Luciano (37:28.076)
That only concerns the asinine bullshit I'm saying right now.

Luciano (37:36.194)
and then they pay assassins

Luciano (37:42.935)
You know?

That explains a lot of things. That explains why there's no police.

Chris (37:48.511)
or a Boris.

Spencer (37:51.119)
Yep, because they pay them with assassin dollars.

Luciano (37:53.706)
And that explains why the people in the nightclub and whatever, they're like, oh, this is just another government thing. Right? When they're, yeah, they've, they've run through that, that like wet for whatever reason, that wet nightclub in Berlin, like with guns out and shooting each other and hacking at each other and everybody's just still dancing and going, oh, this must be a government action then.

Spencer (38:01.307)
It's a government contract.

Chris (38:01.878)
Home Depot, yeah, Home Depot NFTs.

Spencer (38:07.104)
It's just a whole p-point empty. Mind your business.

Spencer (38:20.411)
Yeah, this is good. This is good for the economy. That's what they say when people are getting shot everywhere.

Luciano (38:22.671)
Hahaha

Matt (38:24.55)
Okay, so I just want to understand. I'm here for it. I just want to wrap. I want to actually put these plot threads together with some like hard string. I want to harden that spit, I guess. God damn it. And so we're saying that the families run the government. So John's family runs Germany. Sure, the Bidens run. Sure, the WICs. Great.

Spencer (38:31.471)
Okay. You want to harden that spit is what you're saying.

Luciano (38:32.458)
spit a little bit of spit

Luciano (38:37.987)
Hahaha!

Spencer (38:38.729)
Oh, yeah.

Spencer (38:44.595)
The Bidens, the Clinton, that's the families, the trumps.

Luciano (38:48.25)
The Bidens, the Clintons, the Wicks.

Matt (38:52.933)
And so the assassination actions are a way for the government to show they're keeping you safe. But I'm missing, the piece I'm missing is, all of this is hush hush. Air quotes. Well, but, so...

Luciano (39:06.442)
I mean, is it?

Do you think the Arc of the Triumph is like a very well frequented place?

Spencer (39:14.521)
No, no, no.

Matt (39:15.541)
The Arc de Triomphe? What the fuck? What? Um, no, but my thing is like, so if we're saying police don't exist, and... Well, no, you just said... Well, okay, where? Show me where. You never saw a cop in this movie at all. Anyways, my point is, is like, if... So... So, as a citizen of the world, if I see a man out...

Spencer (39:17.777)
Oh yeah.

Spencer (39:23.907)
No, they exist. They're on, they're on, no, they're on the dollar. They're on the dollar.

Luciano (39:25.899)
Where?

We don't see it.

Yeah.

Chris (39:33.57)
because they're eating donuts and croissants.

Spencer (39:34.948)
The cops are assassins

Spencer (39:41.608)
Mm-hmm.

Matt (39:44.661)
in a suit, riding a horse, driving a motorcycle, driving around the traffic circle, the Arc de Triomphe, with open doors, driving anything, work lift. Driving and shooting.

Spencer (39:51.707)
Driving anything. Forklift. A Razor scooter.

Chris (39:54.894)
Hmm golf cart golf cart

Luciano (39:55.272)
A forklift!

Luciano (39:59.734)
Yeah.

Matt (40:00.893)
Whatever. That's just the government protecting me as a citizen. Go on about my business.

Luciano (40:04.61)
Yeah, that's what it is. That's why they were so, that's why everybody's so calm about it.

Spencer (40:06.831)
You know, you if anything, you should salute that man. If anything, God bless this country.

Matt (40:11.501)
I'm sorry.

Luciano (40:13.966)
Like, yeah, like if, if kids ask, oh, what's happening, mommy? Oh, this is the government protecting us, honey.

Chris (40:14.518)
Thank you for your service.

Matt (40:19.477)
And so in France, who is protecting whom? Is John Wick protecting the French people from the 50,000 assassins that are attacking him? Or are they trying to get rid of John Wick from France?

Luciano (40:30.014)
No, no, it's all... No, neither. This is all just... Yeah, it's just for show, exactly.

Spencer (40:34.891)
Yeah, you know, you're confused or no, Luciano's right. Neither. It's the act of the act of killing each other is what creates the funding.

Matt (40:35.993)
We're mean neither.

Luciano (40:46.59)
Not just the funding, but the image of security. Cause like, oh, if they're killing each other, if I step out of line.

Matt (40:53.041)
Okay, I understand this now.

Chris (40:54.006)
This is how this is the how is this? How is this not the Hunger Games then?

Spencer (40:55.091)
It's a false flag!

Matt (40:59.957)
Well, I was going to say it's like the Simpsons when, you know, the rock, right? This rock keeps tigers away from you. And Homer buys the rock. Give me that rock. So the more violence you get in your country, the more safe you are.

Luciano (41:00.122)
Who says it isn't? Maybe it's the same world.

Spencer (41:10.287)
Yeah, I want that. Give me that rock. Yeah.

Luciano (41:16.846)
The last violence. Yeah, exactly. The government enacts so much violence that there's no need for anybody else to be violent.

Matt (41:19.541)
Right, and the more money, profit.

Matt (41:26.093)
But the more violent the government perpetrates, the more safe you are. And profit. And the more profit is made.

Luciano (41:29.042)
Exactly. Yeah. And yes.

Spencer (41:31.155)
God bless this country! Gold hourglasses for everyone! Would you like healthcare?

Luciano (41:37.583)
Hahaha!

Chris (41:39.53)
rain down rain down you get a golden hourglass you get one you

Luciano (41:47.235)
How else would you explain John Wick fighting up the 500 million steps all the way to the cathedral in the wee hours of the morning, then rolling all the way back down and then fighting all the way back up again and then having a duel without anybody from the police or anybody showing up? It's because they're the police.

Chris (41:49.358)
No, you get an hour guys.

Spencer (41:49.843)
Hehehe

Spencer (42:08.947)
It was our assassin dollars that built those stairs.

Luciano (42:12.668)
Hahaha!

Matt (42:13.604)
Okay.

Spencer (42:16.211)
Hehehehehehe

Chris (42:16.724)
We built this assassin. We built this assassin on rock and roll.

Luciano (42:19.886)
Are you... I was gonna say, okay, you're doing a, we built this city in this universe as we built as assassins on Rock and Roll. Okay, no, I'm here for it.

Matt (42:24.601)
So.

Matt (42:30.549)
Hey, thanks for explaining the joke, Luciano. You could have just let it, you could have just let it exist. You basically John Wick's four, what just happened.

Spencer (42:32.872)
That was the joke it wasn't worth explaining

Luciano (42:34.874)
Was it? I'm sorry, my bad.

Chris (42:34.897)
Ha ha ha!

Chris (42:42.082)
Hehe

Spencer (42:42.474)
Yeah

Luciano (42:42.874)
Yeah, well, it's on brand at least.

Matt (42:45.317)
Um, so, okay, so I understand this. So let me ask one more question just so I fully understand this. It's for the people. John Wick, Keanu Reeves. Is he a creation of the high table matrix to give them someone to have government actions on thereby keeping the violence and profits high?

Chris (42:53.39)
for the culture.

Luciano (43:01.165)
Oh n-

Spencer (43:07.239)
Now you're starting to think like a high table man.

Luciano (43:07.606)
I mean, I don't know why you had to invoke the matrix in this because it, you know, but whatever. Sure, let's go with it.

Matt (43:09.977)
Hehehe

Matt (43:15.455)
I'm just trying to understand. I'm just asking questions. I'm just asking questions!

Spencer (43:18.567)
Looks like someone needs to be hired as an assassin and then hired to be assassinated. Would you like a job, Matt? We're looking for a new hit man. Lose out of 50 million. Yeah. That way I can never lose. I play both sides, but you're down money either way.

Luciano (43:18.625)
Oh no.

Luciano (43:23.513)
And then assassinate himself.

Chris (43:26.935)
No, no, no.

Matt (43:27.086)
So Matt, you're hired. Luciano, 10 million on Matt. Matt, 10 million on Chris.

Luciano (43:41.06)
Yeah.

Matt (43:41.517)
Not yet.

Chris (43:41.607)
If you're gonna enter the system, you must assume the persona that the system necessitates, sir. And if you are going to enter and sit at the high table, what is above the high table? They say the elder. What sits to the left of the high table? The harbinger. Whom sits above the elder or to the right of the high table, I ask you? Answer, the carpenter.

Spencer (44:06.235)
Now you're talking like an abducator.

Luciano (44:06.587)
Oh Jesus? That carpenter?

Spencer (44:09.927)
Matt, I'd like to hire you as an assassin. LUCIANO, 50 MILLION ON MATT! CHRIS, 50 MILLION ON ME! I'm a genius. I'm counting my dollars.

Matt (44:10.073)
Different converter.

Great.

Chris (44:12.904)
Yeah.

Luciano (44:22.142)
ehh ahah

Matt (44:24.665)
You can trust me. All right, so, no, I think that all makes sense. So we've covered, well, I'm just working through the things. We covered why High Table to run the world economy. Got it. Where High Table? All over the world. Each country has their own. Great. Who High Table? Biden's, Clinton's. Yeah.

Luciano (44:26.686)
Hahaha

Chris (44:27.234)
Oh

Luciano (44:32.139)
It does?

Okay.

Spencer (44:36.861)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (44:42.116)
all over.

Chris (44:46.638)
Structube, Leons.

Luciano (44:46.798)
The fam- the families.

Spencer (44:49.094)
Don't forget the Bush. Not just liberal leaders. You know the Clintons, the Kennedys, the Biden.

Luciano (44:50.948)
Yeah.

Chris (44:51.106)
brick.

Luciano (44:55.735)
The Obamas.

Matt (44:56.085)
It's only the liberal elites!

Chris (44:56.142)
Did you say the bush? Did you say... Did you say bush as in the bush?

Luciano (44:59.628)
The Obamas.

Luciano (45:03.65)
Oh yeah, there's just a bush there. Not someone named Bush, just a bush.

Matt (45:04.001)
Yeah. The Gre- No, just the Bush. The Gretzky's a Bush. Yeah. The Gretzky's? Canada's dad, Walter Gretzky? Come on. He's clearly on the high table.

Chris (45:08.334)
Just a dubbush.

Spencer (45:11.631)
The Gretzky's, how did he get in there? He's behind it all. The Jaggers, the Cheleosis. Matthews, the Laws, all Canadian hockey players. We're getting too deep.

Luciano (45:15.862)
The Gretzky's, oh no!

Chris (45:17.416)
That white listen

Chris (45:24.971)
The hoist?

Matt (45:27.829)
the walls.

Luciano (45:28.986)
The Mackenzies.

Matt (45:30.905)
All right. We've lost, yeah, we've lost, we lost whatever listeners we had, my deep hockey references we're pulling out right now.

Luciano (45:32.44)
Yeah.

Chris (45:34.774)
The Isermans.

Spencer (45:37.143)
I'm sorry.

Luciano (45:39.216)
Hahaha!

Matt (45:44.085)
Um, okay, great. Now those are all, uh, so that's, uh, who we covered. What? Why we did not cover when high table, when did the high table start?

Chris (45:50.119)
amuse.

Spencer (45:51.219)
Hehehe

Luciano (45:55.627)
in the middle ages, clearly.

Chris (45:57.463)
Huh?

Spencer (45:57.895)
Well, funny story, it was actually Kane who hired Able to kill him.

Matt (46:03.593)
Oh my god. Okay.

Luciano (46:05.539)
And was Kane, and was Kane Donnie Yen? That Kane? Oh, Kane is a title. There's always an Able.

Chris (46:06.86)
Mm-hmm Biblical no kane is the title kate ism or you say dot

Spencer (46:10.237)
Whoa

Matt (46:14.1)
Yeah, there's always a cane. There's always an able. There's always a harbinger. Carpenter. Yep.

Chris (46:19.566)
And there's always a sandwich artisan.

Luciano (46:20.366)
There's always an adjudicator and there's a carpenter.

Spencer (46:20.465)
It was the original job description.

That's Jesus, the original assassin. I will assassinate myself for your sins.

Luciano (46:25.782)
Yeah. That's what I said.

Matt (46:27.373)
Yeah God sent Jesus the carpenter aka the original assassin Yeah, yes, that's correct

Chris (46:28.95)
He was slaying those-

Luciano (46:34.106)
to assassinate himself on the cross. Yeah. That was the... That's why they call it the greatest story ever told.

Spencer (46:37.505)
Yes. And he put $50 million on his head, which he passed on. Yeah.

Chris (46:44.01)
Well, when you think of 50 pieces of silver back then, think of inflation, that 50 pieces of silver today.

Spencer (46:46.855)
Whoa.

Luciano (46:50.338)
$50 million. There you go. Perfect.

Spencer (46:51.527)
Guys, we're getting too deep. My power has just cut. They're onto us.

Luciano (46:54.766)
Ha ha

Matt (46:58.721)
All right, well, that clears it up. Thank you. We've got everything done. Um, let's move on to some simpler questions.

Luciano (47:04.442)
Did you say Abel hired Cain to kill him?

Spencer (47:05.319)
Simp... Yeah! It was the... It was the first high table job.

Chris (47:07.718)
Yes he did!

Matt (47:09.489)
Yeah, you didn't catch that.

Luciano (47:11.018)
No, it's just coming back to me No, I in this world is am I my brother's murderer no you're the assassin

Chris (47:13.574)
I am my brother's keeper. Well, keep...

Matt (47:15.947)
That was the first... Yeah.

Spencer (47:20.124)
Yes.

Chris (47:20.294)
No, I'm my brother's keeper and I've, and I have a set and I've, these duckets got to be spent, bro. So.

Matt (47:26.773)
Yeah, he kept them dead. That's the, it's always, it's fine. Then Jesus was taking care of business, it's fine. This is how it all worked out. We've explained it. I'm moving on. I have a simpler question. Obviously, it's a little bit of that. I know, that was really easy. Obviously, as part of the high table, some of the things that need to be done is, just think, you know, cause there's some people out in the world that are gonna be like, wow, this is all a conspiracy led by the government.

Luciano (47:28.973)
Fair enough? No fair enough.

Spencer (47:38.919)
Simpler than that? Ha ha ha!

Matt (47:54.721)
and we're actually being killed. And that's not true, but we need someone to handle PR to explain why these things aren't happening like the way you think they may be happening. And so I'm wondering how Joe Rogan would explain away all of what happened in Paris as just a standard government action. It's not assassins, a secret organization, blah, blah. We don't want the public to catch on. So how would Joe Rogan make sure that everybody knows it's just standard operating procedure?

Spencer (48:00.689)
Mm-hmm.

Spencer (48:20.775)
Like, how would he explain the mass shooting in the Arc de Triomphe in the middle of broad night light? Was it nighttime?

Matt (48:29.661)
all the people being shot in the face. Oof. Hey, can we keep Incel Spencer off this podcast for one week?

Luciano (48:30.146)
Well, he would he would start with one word Antifa. He would start with that. Am I wrong? Oh, no. Oh, no.

Spencer (48:36.563)
And no, it was if it was it was actually Joe Rogan, he'd be like, it's entirely possible. That's how he always starts. So, yeah, he always said, he said, I don't I'm not saying I know, but it's entirely possible that there was a truck full of bullets that was in a terrible crash and all those bullets were ignited.

Luciano (48:48.653)
Oh really?

Spencer (49:03.699)
and the gunfire went off and naturally there were a bunch of people who were had concealed and carried legally on them who thought a gunfight was breaking out and then that's why they had all the weapons on them. And obviously that those bullets just head-shotted anyone who had a gun in self-defense. The bullets were defending their right to exist, their right to bear arms.

Luciano (49:25.122)
Wait, yeah, like bees, they were doing like bees, right? Defending the hive by dying.

Matt (49:25.13)
So the bolts were defending themselves.

Spencer (49:32.935)
Yeah, that's... I'm an idiot. I'm not saying I know this. It's just entirely possible. You know, I'm just putting it out there. If you're getting your news from me, you know, there's something wrong with you, but I'm just saying look into it.

Matt (49:37.505)
Right.

Luciano (49:39.334)
Hahaha!

Matt (49:40.377)
BOTS ARE!

Matt (49:45.677)
Bullets, like all life forms on planet Earth, are allowed to defend themselves. So they just defend themselves from being attacked by fire and explosions. That's all.

Spencer (49:56.647)
Yeah. Have you read your amendments? That's right.

Matt (49:59.241)
Yeah. Right to be arms is one of the amendments.

Spencer (50:02.892)
Right to P-arms.

Luciano (50:05.966)
Yeah, it's clearly there. It's clearly there. It's the second amendment, I believe. Every citizen of the world has the right to be arms. Yeah.

Chris (50:07.202)
What?

Spencer (50:11.551)
And then look into it.

Chris (50:11.982)
to be arms?

Look into it? Be arms? Motherfucker are we talking, are we using urban dictionary slang? Like arms is like early A-

Matt (50:18.339)
Yeah.

Spencer (50:18.423)
Yeah, educate yourself, man.

Luciano (50:23.983)
No?

Matt (50:24.321)
You have the right to bear arms and the right to be arms. That's in the American Constitution in the John Wick universe.

Luciano (50:27.268)
Yeah.

Spencer (50:29.785)
Yeah.

And in all those people that died on the stairs, there was ice.

Matt (50:36.269)
Mm-hmm.

Chris (50:37.142)
They were arms.

Spencer (50:39.095)
No, it was Black Ice.

Luciano (50:41.191)
Oh no.

Matt (50:42.995)
Um.

Spencer (50:44.329)
It happens, man. Accidents happen. They slipped.

Luciano (50:44.913)
Oh no.

Matt (50:46.393)
So they slipped and they were carrying guns. So when they slipped in the black ice, the bullets shot up in the air and hit them all in the head.

Spencer (50:53.615)
Listen, they obviously had guns because they had a right to be armed.

Matt (50:56.965)
Mm-hmm. Yes.

Luciano (50:57.102)
they also had the right to be arms. Yeah, that explains why John Wick like rolled down so far, all that black ice is very slippery.

Chris (51:01.614)
I think y'all know what.

Spencer (51:06.543)
Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's entirely possible. Have you ever, okay, Jamie, bring up that video of the orangutan strangling a kangaroo. Have you seen that video? Jamie, bring that up.

Matt (51:06.649)
Chris, we're just explaining this how Joe Rogan would. I don't, I'm not, I don't necessarily believe it.

Chris (51:11.214)
Are you sure about that? Because I-

Chris (51:21.55)
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Luciano (51:22.157)
I'm concerned how much you know about Joe Rogan Spencer.

Matt (51:24.413)
That's too much. I don't know why.

Spencer (51:25.627)
Listen.

Chris (51:26.862)
I asked chat GPT to assume the persona of Joe Rogan and I asked it to explain the plot and reasons why it makes sense. And then I asked it to explain why John Wick can't be killed. And in the voice of Joe Rogan, it says, here's an excerpt, and you know, it's a fascinating thing to think about, man. John Wick, he's this absolute killing machine. But at the end of the day, he's still human, you know?

Matt (51:30.292)
Oh god.

Chris (51:54.174)
I mean, the dude's taking more hits than a heavyweight boxer on a bad night, but he's not invincible, okay? His jujitsu is top notch. The way he jumps on, he clings like a bait, like a koala. Koala jujitsu, kojitsu. He just lets his body weight and goes limp, clutching, okay? Clutching and then letting the body weight do the rest of the work. Suddenly the odds are not in these assassins' favor anymore. Okay, buy my supplements, brain juice.

Spencer (52:02.472)
Hehehehe

Spencer (52:21.159)
Does it say brain juice?

Chris (52:22.954)
No, I had to, I had to, I had to pep it up.

Luciano (52:24.422)
I gotta say, John Wick does love the move of jumping on someone and hooking their leg or whatever and doing like a cartwheel or whatever.

Spencer (52:25.635)
It's pretty good.

Spencer (52:31.599)
Yeah, it's the... It's funny because that move has been used so often, but it's always used by women. It's always like the Black Widow move in the Avengers. It's always the jump, wrap your leg around and throw them.

Luciano (52:40.215)
Yeah.

Chris (52:43.322)
Not the hurricanrana, not that one. I mean, there are variations. I mean, that room is so fucking old now. But anyways, but like, John just like, his body is like the best kettle, like an immovable kettlebell. He just like koalas onto you and you can't defend that cause you fucking, it's just like, it's like, ha! And then it just, uh huh.

Spencer (53:03.943)
Yeah, but he does like, he puts your leg up into like a triangle, he wraps his legs around, and then spins.

Luciano (53:07.49)
Yeah. And then he rolls around with you and then, and then you wait for like half a second until, until it like shoots you in the head.

Spencer (53:12.627)
for him to take a gun out.

Chris (53:17.837)
Yeah.

Spencer (53:18.12)
Until he shoots you in the head, which he does quite easily and quite often. Does that answer your question?

Matt (53:21.365)
Okay, cool. Now that answers the question I didn't ask. Next question, as we see in this movie, they kind of hint at it in the first three movies, but now they just like dive into it all suits are made of mithril, I assume, because they can block any bullet projectile from any range. Yeah, doesn't matter. I just want to know like, obviously, we're all joining the high table.

Chris (53:25.602)
completely.

Spencer (53:40.657)
Ha ha

Luciano (53:41.766)
From any distance, yeah, yeah.

Matt (53:48.417)
Spencer's got contracts for us and on us and himself. We're gonna be so rich.

Spencer (53:51.175)
Guys, we're gonna be rich. We just have to kill each other for millions.

Luciano (53:52.538)
Ha ha ha!

Matt (53:56.973)
But part of being on the high table is you have to wear bulletproof clothing. The suits seem not as effective as the shit paint. I'm just wondering if you guys had a better outfit to wear to keep yourself alive while you're assassinating ourselves.

Luciano (54:10.694)
Sure, a GimSuit. It covers the whole... It's basically a onesie with a mask. Like you can do with or without the ballgag, it's up to you, but I personally would use it just to get the full experience. It's fine, but you just don't die.

Matt (54:13.421)
Ha! Okay!

Matt (54:25.604)
You can't see out of the GIMP suit, correct?

Chris (54:30.446)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Matt (54:32.789)
What if I walk up to you and unzip the mouth and just...

Luciano (54:35.84)
No, you can't. It's Kevlar.

Matt (54:38.893)
But I've unzipped it.

Luciano (54:39.594)
It's it's Kevlar. I don't care. It's Mithril. I'm sorry. Not Kevlar. No, you can't because it's Mithril. Listen, I'm just using the logic of the movie here.

Matt (54:42.369)
So, yeah, but if I make a hole in your mithril, that's not how that works. They, he shot so many people in the head eventually, so.

Spencer (54:44.741)
It's... it's mithril.

Luciano (54:54.902)
Yeah, because they didn't have the Gimp mask on.

Spencer (54:54.952)
Well that's why that's

Spencer (54:59.883)
mandatory gimp masks. That's new, we're putting that through on the high table.

Luciano (55:01.75)
Yeah, for everyone.

Chris (55:05.257)
I see your goddamn gimp suit and I raise you a motherfucking mascot suit made of mithril. Okay?

Spencer (55:12.135)
Damn it, I was gonna- that's what I was gonna say, I was gonna say the Philly Fanatic. That was gonna be my- that was gonna be my assassination outfit.

Luciano (55:18.729)
It's a good thing you see the GIMP suit because I can't out of it.

Ha ha!

Spencer (55:25.091)
I award you no points.

Luciano (55:27.5)
I may God have mercy on your soul. Fair enough.

Chris (55:30.754)
50 points from Slytherin.

Spencer (55:32.415)
My, honestly, my biggest complaint with the, with the Mythril stuff, I don't, I can, you know, I can be fine with the bulletproof clothing. No, even the clothing being bulletproof, but what bothers me is that the bullet, the clothing didn't even like indent when they were shot. Like it's just fabric. He's holding it up like a, like, he's holding it up like a little blanket. And it's like, that would, I don't care what it's made of. It's gonna like flap. So, so taking that into consideration.

Luciano (55:39.578)
Vests.

Mm-hmm.

Luciano (55:49.45)
Yeah, I know. It's like Superman. Like a shield.

Luciano (55:58.86)
Yeah.

Spencer (56:03.231)
I gotta go, I'm all aboard the Gimpsu, cause that's got no, it's got no give, right? It's body tight. Obviously, except for the assless chaps part, but that's a taste thing. That's a taste, that's an option. So what about a dickless chap? Are all chaps dickless?

Luciano (56:07.526)
Give. Yeah.

Matt (56:14.473)
Mm hmm. All chaps are ashless. Thank you.

Matt (56:24.806)
What chaps don't come with dicks they're just pants

Spencer (56:27.928)
Whaaaaaaat?

Luciano (56:28.102)
Yeah.

Chris (56:29.582)
Chads come dickless.

Luciano (56:31.327)
Chaps are just assless pants. That's all they are

Matt (56:32.261)
What do you mean? Yeah. But like, chaps don't have dicks on them. You supply the dick, if you have one.

Spencer (56:33.924)
Okay.

Chris (56:34.158)
Chaps and Chads.

Luciano (56:41.524)
The dick is optional.

Chris (56:42.21)
But what if you get high on your own supply and therefore go bankrupt on the supply and then you need to fulfill the demand?

Spencer (56:44.371)
W-w-

Matt (56:46.59)
Hehehehe

Matt (56:51.661)
So you're saying Chris, you're going to crack open the hourglass you were given as part of the high table and that's just high grade cocaine?

Luciano (56:58.63)
cocaine.

Chris (57:00.606)
If one, listen, you're trying not to get shot, right? The Harvard juror is coming to make two sandwiches out of your ass and cut them diagonally, okay? Crust off. You need to tell me you have no other recourse but to just let the judge, let the judge, jury and execution swing their ax upon you and just let it happen? I say no. You need to sniff and you need to sniff.

Matt (57:04.033)
Mm-hmm. Right.

Matt (57:09.487)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (57:27.002)
Well...

Chris (57:28.879)
if you want to make it to the midriff.

Matt (57:31.545)
So if you sniff out all of the... I got this, no, I can land this plane, I swear to God.

Spencer (57:32.748)
What the fuck is happening? Okay, go, okay Matt, I'm giving you one chance.

Luciano (57:35.789)
But why? It says Chris. No Chris was the one who snorted all of the hourglass sand. That's what happened.

Matt (57:42.089)
No, I see what Chris is doing. If, because the Marquis was like, send him the hourglass and then they're done after that. If you sniff all the sand out of the hourglass.

Luciano (57:49.648)
Hahaha

Chris (57:52.27)
Time is just an illusion, motherfuckers.

Spencer (57:54.675)
You are time.

Matt (57:54.765)
Boom! You are now time, you can't be killed.

Luciano (57:58.938)
Or if you do that, then you run out of time faster and you get killed faster.

Chris (57:59.234)
You can't kill.

Matt (58:03.297)
That's not how it works. It's a loophole. Only if you snort. Only if you snort does it work.

Chris (58:03.638)
But that's not...

Spencer (58:05.427)
Have you even seen Back to the Future?

Luciano (58:05.635)
I'm so.

Luciano (58:10.654)
I see. Oh, it's on the fine print is what you're saying.

Chris (58:11.306)
It didn't run out. It didn't run out because you drilled a hole into the top half and inhaled it all baby. Cocaine's a hell of a drug.

Spencer (58:21.107)
Um, I, can I change my answer? I would wear a Spider-Man suit instead of a gibsuit. I don't need it to be a sexual.

Luciano (58:21.479)
Yep, clearly, clearly.

Chris (58:28.246)
How is it different? I love it though. Okay, okay.

Luciano (58:31.094)
Wait, are you saying Spider-Man wears a GIMP suit? Is that what you're saying?

Spencer (58:33.787)
I mean, I think...

Matt (58:34.017)
Well, he's got eyes in his, so technically no. And he doesn't put a ball in his mouth that I'm aware of.

Luciano (58:37.141)
Yeah.

Yeah, dude.

Chris (58:40.222)
and his butt cheeks are covered permanently.

Luciano (58:42.958)
But you don't like...

Spencer (58:43.099)
No, Matt's right, I would put a ball in my mouth as Spider-Man. Thank you.

Matt (58:47.964)
You're welcome.

Luciano (58:48.123)
Also, GIMP suit doesn't have chaps. It's usually all closed. Yeah. Zip, yeah, yeah.

Matt (58:51.994)
It's all leather. It's got zippers to access.

Spencer (58:56.123)
It's not leather if it's made of magic, mithril.

Luciano (58:58.071)
me through.

Chris (58:59.33)
So Luciano being the mythro Gimpsu aficionado, can you help me understand like ballistically, like if it has the sheen and texture of leather, right? What is it?

Luciano (59:06.49)
Right.

Luciano (59:10.763)
It doesn't.

Matt (59:12.297)
It doesn't, it's a suit. We've already established.

Luciano (59:14.272)
It has the sheen and feel of suits. Only it's a gimp suit.

Matt (59:17.505)
It's a 60-40 cotton blend of all Mithril, so it's 60 Mithril, 40 Mithril.

Luciano (59:24.4)
It's 500 thread Egyptian cotton fuel.

Matt (59:27.787)
Yeah.

Chris (59:28.755)
Because I'm thinking about the importance of practicality and mobility. Like, are GIMP suits mobile? Like, can you?

Matt (59:34.629)
You're right. Yeah, just skin tight. It's like when runners or swimmers wear a bodysuit to go faster, less air resistance. That's all Luciano's doing, just in gimp form for reasons.

Luciano (59:34.722)
Yeah.

Luciano (59:40.302)
Yeah.

Chris (59:42.113)
Okay.

Luciano (59:44.63)
Yep. For instance, you have to be determined.

Spencer (59:45.115)
If you made bullets out of the same, could you make the bullets out of the same material as what they make the suits out of? No, that's not what I said.

Chris (59:45.737)
Yeah

Hmm

Chris (59:52.462)
Gimp Mithril? Uh oh. You just said Gimp Mithril. Gimp Mithril. How do you, question riddle me this, how do you cut a diamond? How do you cuddle a diamond? My good man with another diamond. So how do you get through the Gimp Mithril?

Luciano (59:55.01)
Wait, what? No, he didn't.

Spencer (59:57.915)
No, I said gimp bullets. No, I said myth throw bullets.

Luciano (01:00:07.65)
I'm telling you, I'm telling you, Chris sniffed the whole hourglass. Ha ha

Matt (01:00:08.077)
Hey, hey, hey Joe Rogan. We're past that, we're past that question.

Spencer (01:00:12.319)
Hehehe

Chris (01:00:13.982)
Listen, listen, if it comes down to capoeira and mithril gimp suits, I'm telling you, someone needs to smoke it.

Luciano (01:00:21.848)
He is completely insane like even more so than usual

Matt (01:00:23.589)
He is. Yeah, he's fine. No, I think we've answered this question. I don't really wanna answer the question of how do you cut the mithril with the mithril. Spencer, to your point, if the bullet hits the suit nothing to, it's like, you know what? It's like magnets. When you put two of the, how do they work? Yeah, that's, magnets, how do they work? Moving on.

Spencer (01:00:40.179)
The Repel?

Luciano (01:00:40.442)
How do they work? Ha ha ha. Exactly. There you go. Ha ha ha.

Spencer (01:00:43.251)
Alright. Uh-uh. You got me there.

Let's check, and mate.

Chris (01:00:48.834)
How magnets, why magnets?

Matt (01:00:51.349)
Yeah, got him. The Harbinger we've talked about a lot, Clancy Brown. He's the Harbinger, he's the judge of the duel. He's also like the rules master. What? The judge master. Yeah, what else does he do for the high table? Cause we don't see a lot of high table members. So what other jobs does Clancy Brown have when he's not doing the things we saw him?

Chris (01:00:57.622)
Yeah! Respect!

Spencer (01:01:02.899)
He's the Dunge- The Dungeon Master!

Luciano (01:01:02.938)
The hourglass bearer. Yeah, the hourglass bearer.

Chris (01:01:05.161)
Yeah...

Luciano (01:01:12.911)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:01:17.041)
Laundry.

Luciano (01:01:17.05)
Hmm. Yeah, for sure.

Matt (01:01:19.297)
Well, okay, I need his title as well, right? So we can't just be, thank you.

Spencer (01:01:22.373)
Laundry Master.

Luciano (01:01:24.514)
No, no. Watchmaster.

Spencer (01:01:26.619)
Washmaster's better. What about Laundroman?

Luciano (01:01:32.018)
Ooh, nice. He's so close to laundromat. Hahahaha!

Matt (01:01:33.162)
Laundromat? But that's not more like a superhero character.

Spencer (01:01:34.651)
No, oh, sorry. I know. Okay, what about a laundry-cater?

Chris (01:01:37.267)
Grrr.

Luciano (01:01:42.839)
Nice.

Matt (01:01:43.309)
That's better. Now you're talking. That's good.

Luciano (01:01:46.262)
It sounds almost like that it has a Latin root, but it doesn't, which is perfect.

Spencer (01:01:51.251)
Plumericator. No, but you also have, he also plums.

Luciano (01:01:53.119)
No, no, you had laundry, laundry kit or is good.

Matt (01:01:54.677)
No.

Matt (01:01:58.853)
Yeah, but like you gotta do better. You can't just cater all the names to be done here

Luciano (01:01:59.022)
Oh, the, no, it's, he's, he is, he's the pipe, the pipe layer.

Spencer (01:02:02.188)
Wait, let hear me out here. Mechanicator.

Chris (01:02:07.958)
Yeah, the harbinger works for offshoot porn hub entity. And he, he's like, ding, ding. I've come to help you with your plumbing problem. I hear your bathtub is not.

Luciano (01:02:17.366)
Oh, so he's also a porn actor for the high table. A porni- a fornicator!

Spencer (01:02:20.647)
He's a- he's a PORNICATOR. Hehe

Chris (01:02:21.874)
He's an artisan, okay? A fornicating, harbinating, pluminating, fornicating, err-err, pornicator.

Luciano (01:02:31.254)
He's both. Clearly. He does all the... He's the only one in the high table that actually works, let's be honest here.

Spencer (01:02:33.475)
Uh...

Chris (01:02:33.856)
Jorgen!

Matt (01:02:37.313)
Right. So then he's a... Spencer, to answer your earlier question about plumbing, he's a plumist.

Spencer (01:02:40.783)
Yes. Okay, Plum Plumus is a accountocator. Account... That's what I meant!

Luciano (01:02:42.787)
I plumished.

Matt (01:02:44.963)
Yeah.

Matt (01:02:48.622)
Come on man, you gotta...

Luciano (01:02:49.002)
No, come on! You have to sneak some Latin in there.

Chris (01:02:54.296)
I got, he's also a curator of culinary party hosting scenarios because you still have to feed your assassins. He's a, he's a, he's a, he's a, he's a cunning, he's a cunning cata colorlingualator.

Luciano (01:03:04.783)
So he's a caterer is what you're saying.

Spencer (01:03:06.407)
No, he's a- he's a K-ta He's a K-ta-kater!

Luciano (01:03:08.91)
Katie Kater, Katie Kater.

Luciano (01:03:15.993)
Yeah, Katie cater kitty carers sounds like something you tell your daughter did like that's the what the costume is or whatever

Matt (01:03:16.448)
the

Chris (01:03:22.102)
Have you ever had shrimp scampi?

Luciano (01:03:25.538)
Yeah. Ha ha ha!

Spencer (01:03:25.543)
Bring in the cater-gator!

Matt (01:03:28.289)
Hehehehe

Chris (01:03:28.81)
I made this pesto myself. ACHC

Luciano (01:03:34.792)
I have to say, this movie misused Clancy Brown. I wish I had seen a lot more.

Chris (01:03:40.77)
Well, he's quite a bit older, but unless, unless he's, unless the Harbinger is like a master of some ancient deadly martial art that's only known to like Harbinger tier only, it would have been great. Like if Kane Donnie Yen can use his walking stick in badassery, well then Harbinger Clancy Brown could have used Kane actual walking Kane, elderly Kane, food.

Luciano (01:03:43.607)
Doesn't matter.

Luciano (01:03:52.326)
Old man like just known old to know men. It's called farting

Spencer (01:04:08.435)
Who is he, the villain from Rebel Moon?

Luciano (01:04:11.047)
Oh no.

Chris (01:04:12.102)
That was a, that was, yes and yes and.

Matt (01:04:13.768)
or

Spencer (01:04:14.599)
Hahaha

Luciano (01:04:15.936)
Oh, is it the same universe? Please no.

Spencer (01:04:19.694)
When he uses his cane, he's a canicator.

Chris (01:04:22.222)
Clancy Brown is the, it should have been the real...

Matt (01:04:22.821)
Hahaha

Luciano (01:04:24.888)
His name is as Harbinger Noble.

Chris (01:04:27.931)
Oooo

Matt (01:04:27.989)
Fuck you. Fuck all of you. All of you.

Chris (01:04:30.958)
Clancy Brown should have been the, is the true regent. Fuck that other guy. But anyways.

Matt (01:04:37.305)
What region?

Chris (01:04:38.526)
Exactly, the one with the terrible homeless beard.

Luciano (01:04:42.552)
Oh.

Matt (01:04:42.932)
Okay, Atticus Harbinger.

Luciano (01:04:45.067)
No, Atticus is noble.

Chris (01:04:45.666)
Take it. Not noble.

Spencer (01:04:46.779)
Listen, our podcasts are bleeding together. It's not good.

Matt (01:04:47.001)
Abaddon harbinger

Chris (01:04:51.382)
Time is a concept. Yeah, Bella's serious.

Luciano (01:04:52.004)
Balisarius

Matt (01:04:53.62)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:04:54.32)
Even snorted too much time saying.

Chris (01:04:56.97)
Time Sam, it's the best.

Matt (01:04:57.049)
Belisarius Abaddon Harbinger III at your service.

Luciano (01:05:00.478)
Yeah, exactly. That's his full name.

Chris (01:05:02.254)
Call me Khergen.

Matt (01:05:04.549)
We have to put that. Oh, no, it's fine. Let's okay. That's that's shift gears again Why is John with the villain of the movie?

Luciano (01:05:04.742)
Hahaha!

Chris (01:05:06.07)
and make wonderful sandwiches.

Chris (01:05:10.478)
Paninis.

Spencer (01:05:16.703)
I mean, on the surface you could just, he kills everybody.

Luciano (01:05:21.162)
Also he gets Koji killed and he gets Lanseretic killed because of his shenanigans and so...

Chris (01:05:21.183)
Mm-hmm.

Matt (01:05:30.029)
Well, yeah. John Wicks? Revenge. It's pretty clear. Yes.

Spencer (01:05:31.059)
What's his motive? Yeah, what's his motive? Who's he trying to get revenge against?

Luciano (01:05:37.387)
The high table.

Chris (01:05:38.686)
It was the high table, but...

Matt (01:05:40.417)
Yeah, the high table. It always was the high table.

Spencer (01:05:41.875)
Did the hide table really do anything to fuck him over though?

Matt (01:05:45.757)
Okay, so in the first movie, no. In the second movie, yes.

Luciano (01:05:48.345)
On the second movie, yes, at the end, at the end of the second movie.

Spencer (01:05:52.947)
What'd I do?

Matt (01:05:56.037)
I don't know, some stuff. We'll look it up here.

Luciano (01:05:56.17)
I don't remember enough. I just remembered that he shot that guy in the, like in Winston's office or whatever.

Spencer (01:06:02.759)
This seems to be a reoccurring theme of they're the bad guys, but John Wick kills somebody and they're responding to his continuous murder. So it sounds to me like they're simply trying to stop a mass murderer and he that they pay. Yeah. Well, well that they're a business. It's different.

Matt (01:06:13.889)
Yeah.

Luciano (01:06:20.166)
Because he's interfering with their mass murdering, clearly.

Matt (01:06:21.3)
that they paid.

Luciano (01:06:30.068)
It's government sanctioned.

Matt (01:06:30.913)
Yeah, so just to give you context, Luciano's right. He killed Santino in the New York Continental, and that's breaking the rules of no company business on Continental grounds. I think it's because Santino was out to murder him, and then Santino runs to blah, blah.

Spencer (01:06:30.931)
Let's go.

Luciano (01:06:39.754)
I don't remember why he killed sentino though

Spencer (01:06:52.083)
Can't just wait for him to leave the hotel?

Matt (01:06:55.606)
Um, no, he can't.

Luciano (01:06:55.726)
No, it was the opposite, because he goes hide in the hotel, I think.

Spencer (01:06:59.091)
can't hide there forever. Listen, our harbinger laid down the very clear rules. Fair, very fair. The most beautiful rules. Okay, and John Wick, he, you know what, he's, I'm just gonna be like one of those police chiefs, you know, who's just saying the facts to the hot-headed detective. You're out of line! You're out of control!

Luciano (01:07:12.74)
Oh no.

Matt (01:07:13.374)
Ahem. Fuck.

Spencer (01:07:28.751)
I need your gun in your badge! Yeah. John Wake is a hot headed assassin? A hot headed employee. Listen, he's a disgruntled employee who decides to murder the people who fired him.

Luciano (01:07:29.053)
I want your gun on badge!

Luciano (01:07:39.33)
Yeah? Disgruntled Assassin, or a.

Chris (01:07:39.9)
Son of a gun.

Matt (01:07:47.309)
He's a postal worker.

Spencer (01:07:48.463)
He's a postal worker.

Chris (01:07:48.989)
Mm-hmm.

Luciano (01:07:49.659)
Oh, I see.

Spencer (01:07:51.623)
Yeah, suddenly he's not such a good guy, is he?

Matt (01:07:53.963)
No.

Luciano (01:07:54.446)
He's a postal worker that delivered no letters. Even worse. Oh no.

Spencer (01:07:56.827)
Nobody likes a postal worker. He maybe just delivered mail. That's too far.

Matt (01:08:06.513)
Even if you did. Okay, no, I think we've established, well, they have a right to be delivered. If a corporation is a person, bullets are clearly a person, sir. Thank you very much.

Chris (01:08:08.674)
You delivered them bullets.

Spencer (01:08:18.194)
Listen.

Luciano (01:08:18.921)
And people can be bullets as well, apparently.

Spencer (01:08:21.063)
So, and John Wick used to work for them and was an assassin, right? So he's killing all these other assassins who are just doing their jobs.

Luciano (01:08:26.348)
Yeah, and he retired.

Luciano (01:08:31.973)
True.

Matt (01:08:32.393)
Yes, but also they're being paid by the high table to die and kill. Well, not die, but it's a circle of business. That's all I know.

Luciano (01:08:39.86)
Geniuses.

Spencer (01:08:42.175)
Yeah, but they're doing like exactly what John used to do. So like he's no better than them. I mean, he's better than them at it.

Luciano (01:08:43.236)
The circle of business.

Matt (01:08:50.997)
Yeah, but that doesn't... I don't think that makes them a villain just because they're all killing.

Chris (01:08:53.547)
better skill.

Spencer (01:08:58.188)
Hmm. Yo-

Luciano (01:08:59.222)
No, but I think he's the villain because he's like, no, I'm gonna go kill everybody. And because he... And then didn't even kill everybody. He kills one marquee and he's like, okay, I'm okay. And then he dies like a dog. Like his dog.

Matt (01:09:05.289)
and gets all his friends killed along the way.

Mm.

Chris (01:09:10.254)
True.

Spencer (01:09:15.147)
And I have it on good authority, he killed his own dog. His dog was, his killing his dog was an inside job. His dog was an inside job. That's all I'm saying. Look into it. Jimmy, pull that up.

Luciano (01:09:20.555)
What?

Matt (01:09:21.957)
Okay, chill Rogan.

Luciano (01:09:28.811)
Look into it.

Matt (01:09:30.15)
No, here, Alexis, no, I think he's right. His wife allegedly dies leaving this alleged dog.

Spencer (01:09:34.639)
Yeah, yeah. I mean, it was a dog. That wasn't a legend.

Chris (01:09:35.126)
Hmm. When she actually walked out on him.

Matt (01:09:39.729)
Right? And then these men allegedly come to his house and allegedly shoot his dog. Is there any evidence? Any proof? Oh, you see, that's all a fever dream for your eyes. Yeah.

Spencer (01:09:43.993)
Mysteriously.

Luciano (01:09:46.126)
But I mean, we see, yeah, we see that.

Chris (01:09:49.782)
Where are the receipts?

Spencer (01:09:53.007)
You see what he wants you to see. What do you think the movie's called? John Wick. It's his.

Luciano (01:09:56.025)
I see. I see. I'm being fed what the mass media wants me to see. I see.

Matt (01:10:00.673)
Yeah, the fat cats, the corporate liberal elites are telling you what they need to tell you.

Spencer (01:10:01.313)
He's the narrator.

Luciano (01:10:05.932)
Hahaha

Spencer (01:10:07.06)
Yeah. Walt Disney.

Chris (01:10:08.293)
Talk about his story.

Matt (01:10:09.955)
Okay.

Luciano (01:10:11.394)
What? Just the head? Just the head? The frozen...

Matt (01:10:12.521)
Yeah. Just just ahead of Walt Disney. Yeah, just yeah, just asking questions. Just, you know, read some stuff. That's all we're asking.

Chris (01:10:14.19)
The Learning Channel? Oh shoot. Wow. The boss, the boss.

Spencer (01:10:15.227)
Look into it man, Timmy pull that up.

Luciano (01:10:18.598)
Shut up, Spencer. Ha ha ha!

Spencer (01:10:20.031)
Just, just, we're talking about the stuff that's all that. Yeah, I'm not saying I know.

Luciano (01:10:26.163)
Yeah. Do your own research.

Matt (01:10:27.577)
Do your own research. That's right.

Spencer (01:10:28.551)
But when you're doing it, Google Walt Disney's head inside jobjohnwicksdog.com. Very reputable, very reputable. But do your own research.

Matt (01:10:34.969)
Hahaha

Chris (01:10:35.214)
Porn hub. Comma, cause that's how you surface it. You just make sure you comma and then just add the porn hub and then Walt Disney's head will.

Luciano (01:10:35.317)
Yeah. Hahahaha!

Matt (01:10:43.841)
Well, if you do this correctly, what Chris is saying is that if you do it correctly, you put that slash Pornhub, you actually get 30% off of subscription to Pornhub, as well as finding the truth.

Spencer (01:10:54.147)
Yes, don't forget to use promo code popcornplot. 30% off your port of Walt Disney dog inside job John Wick merchandise.

Luciano (01:10:58.971)
hahahaha

Matt (01:11:00.974)
Poured up.

Chris (01:11:05.418)
And if you act now, you can use the additional discount code. Gimp Mithril Luciano advocates 30% for all your gimping needs.

Spencer (01:11:10.728)
Oh.

Luciano (01:11:13.226)
Yeah. And then all the BDSM videos are cheaper than.

Spencer (01:11:14.371)
Yeah, you could... Yeah.

Matt (01:11:17.389)
That's actually that code Chris. That's actually just for me. And these just to wear Claire.

Spencer (01:11:20.419)
Yeah, that's right. Yeah. We didn't get that note.

Chris (01:11:22.374)
Ahhh

Luciano (01:11:23.842)
Wait, wait, in this world, me and these cells, gimp me through gimp suits. Of course, this, I think we've got I think we've come for so we've come full circle. Yeah, perfect.

Spencer (01:11:28.775)
This is our world. What are you talking about? This is our world. This is our business.

Matt (01:11:29.277)
Obviously, this world. Yeah. Have you not worn the meandis? You feel how soft they are? Would you want that for a whole gift suit? Trust me, you're gonna love it.

Chris (01:11:29.558)
Mithril Gimson.

Spencer (01:11:38.714)
Yeah, uh-

Chris (01:11:39.104)
Listen.

Luciano (01:11:39.396)
Wait, are you saying my underwear is bulletproof? Amazing.

Matt (01:11:44.019)
Go try it out, let me know.

Chris (01:11:44.37)
Listen, the last, if you put on these.

Spencer (01:11:45.219)
Yeah, we're not saying it's not bulletproof

Luciano (01:11:47.106)
Yeah, be right back, I'm just gonna shit my nuts for a second.

Chris (01:11:50.69)
The last thing you need to worry about is shooting blanks if you wear these me undies.

Matt (01:11:50.874)
Ha ha.

Luciano (01:11:52.998)
Yeah.

Matt (01:11:55.693)
See? Chris nailed it, thank you Chris. We're gonna move on to a new question and just leave it on that perfect segue. No reason. Why is Donnie Yen the better, some would say the best version of Daredevil?

Luciano (01:11:56.286)
Nice. That's why Chris is the marketing guy.

Spencer (01:12:02.427)
What? Why?

Luciano (01:12:04.506)
Ha ha!

Luciano (01:12:13.026)
Wait, are you asking about the actor or his character in this movie?

Matt (01:12:16.47)
No, just on the end.

Chris (01:12:16.503)
kiss kiss, well.

Spencer (01:12:18.728)
This has nothing to do with the movie. No. What a coincidence! No, I think that's a very good question because his character in this film was as good of a daredevil as you can see.

Luciano (01:12:20.002)
Well, first because he's not actually blind. Ha ha ha!

Matt (01:12:21.133)
He's in this movie?

Luciano (01:12:26.082)
Oh wow.

Luciano (01:12:34.351)
Well...

Matt (01:12:36.002)
So, the reason why I say Johnny Yen is because he's played a blind character in multiple movies. So I can only assume Johnny Yen is actually...

Chris (01:12:38.698)
Emphasis on C.

Luciano (01:12:43.864)
Yes.

Chris (01:12:44.334)
There you go.

Spencer (01:12:47.028)
Not just a blind character, a blind character who could fight while blind.

Luciano (01:12:47.514)
Bluh.

Luciano (01:12:50.798)
while blind. Yeah. So it's just every character he plays is blind if man is what you're saying. Okay. So dare so dare devil. So

Matt (01:12:51.765)
Extremely well. Yep, exactly.

Spencer (01:12:59.419)
So daredevil.

Chris (01:13:00.074)
Everyone knows when you when you take away one of your senses the rest become mega heightened and it's a Template that's been carried out through cinema Some might say real life

Luciano (01:13:04.974)
Yeah, I think...

Spencer (01:13:13.247)
You're saying all blind people have this ability?

Luciano (01:13:14.465)
S-S-

Chris (01:13:16.522)
Yeah, like thanks to, I think it's a beat Takeshi and others before him. Like there's a whole genre of movies called like Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman and he does incredible things because his senses are mega heightened. So.

Spencer (01:13:31.463)
Hold on, I gotta punch a blind guy and see if this checks out. Just stay right here. Stay right here, guys.

Luciano (01:13:34.246)
Jesus, while you do that, let me answer your question, Matt. So I think the main reason why Kane is the better Daredevil is because he's willing to kill with the sword. Like Daredevil is just like... Exactly, he just beats people up. Like Donnie Yen just finishes him off and doesn't have the problem later.

Matt (01:13:38.31)
Thank you.

Chris (01:13:43.822)
Gene. Dear Devil.

Matt (01:13:50.805)
Matt Murdoch's a coward, you heard it here first.

Chris (01:13:58.282)
Yeah, it's as easy as skewering a pig. Just like plop, plop.

Luciano (01:14:01.376)
Jesus Christ. Like, yeah, I mean he's been on a watchlist for a while.

Spencer (01:14:02.424)
You're on a watch list

Chris (01:14:05.794)
What are you talking about?

Matt (01:14:08.061)
No, Luciano is right because if you're really working for the government, do you want to have all these broken legs, broken arms people walking around, you got to pay insurance to? Just kill them, it's way cheaper.

Luciano (01:14:16.758)
Yeah, like lawsuits waiting to happen. Come on, no, just kill them. Yeah. And then they don't come back. Like if, you know, if Kane was the actual daredevil, like the hand would not have been a problem after like the first comic. We just kill everybody and they're done. Yeah. No, they keep coming back. Cause he doesn't kill. Yeah. Ha ha ha. You know what?

Chris (01:14:21.014)
Workers Calm.

Matt (01:14:33.389)
Done. Game over.

Chris (01:14:34.468)
Mmm... True.

Spencer (01:14:35.903)
They'd be the finger in no time.

Spencer (01:14:42.068)
I thank you, I thank you, I'll be out here all week. Hehe

Luciano (01:14:44.586)
I fucking hate that I laughed at that, but kudos. Hehehehehehe Hehehehehehehe

Matt (01:14:48.399)
I'm gonna move us on because we need to. Tracker. We didn't really talk that much about Tracker. But Tracker's in this movie for reasons. I guess you kill Lance Hendrickson, you replace him with another actor.

Luciano (01:14:56.07)
which says something.

Luciano (01:15:02.371)
Wow.

Spencer (01:15:03.432)
Whoa.

Matt (01:15:04.638)
I didn't do it, the movie did it.

Chris (01:15:06.478)
The movie did. The movie did. Yeah.

Spencer (01:15:07.667)
Lawrence Fishbird's in it too.

Matt (01:15:10.13)
Oh, barely.

Luciano (01:15:11.037)
Chris has decided to sit somewhere other than by his microphone.

Matt (01:15:14.889)
Yeah, back up. Yeah, it sounds like you're 10 miles away from it. Thank you.

Luciano (01:15:19.769)
It's like, it's like, the movie died!

Chris (01:15:20.84)
my bad.

Matt (01:15:22.101)
Yeah. Listen, no Bechtel test. No, it's fucked up. Anyways, so, but it's nothing to say there. Just stuff right there. Tracker's in this movie and Tracker, we see that Tracker makes a bunch of bad deals with the Marquis for reasons that aren't explained.

Chris (01:15:26.126)
Mm-hmm.

Spencer (01:15:29.496)
Yeah, just that right there.

Chris (01:15:29.899)
Hmph! Hehehehehehehehe

Luciano (01:15:38.784)
Two of the worst negotiators in the history of movies. Yeah.

Matt (01:15:41.785)
just terrible. Tracker asks for $50 million. They negotiate down to, what, 46? Yeah.

Chris (01:15:43.506)
Weird.

Chris (01:15:47.885)
Money.

Spencer (01:15:51.977)
Thursday.

Luciano (01:15:52.444)
No, he starts at 20, then he starts at 25, and then the marquee says 20, he says 23, and then he calls him back and says 35. Then the marquee calls again and he says 40.

Matt (01:16:00.909)
Nobody. But he also does the thing where he's like and another similar donation from my 401k. So I have no idea how much they actually negotiated for at this point.

Luciano (01:16:07.806)
Yeah. Yeah, I don't think even he knows.

Chris (01:16:10.226)
Yeah, that was a weird H. That was the worst HR meeting I've ever seen in an action movie.

Matt (01:16:16.777)
So many violations. Anyway, so Tracker is allegedly gonna get a whole bunch of money if he finds and then he has to kill John Wick because the murky pulls a Darth Vader on him, alters the deal and pray, he just has to pray he doesn't alter it any further. Of course he does. No. Did it work with Darth Vader? No. But what does Tracker need, what does Tracker keep? Why doesn't Tracker say like, you know what, I'm good, I'm just gonna walk. He needs his money. We see a list.

Luciano (01:16:18.938)
Hahaha

Luciano (01:16:31.262)
Yeah, well, he does actually. He doesn't... brain doesn't do anything because he does alter it further. Yeah, fair enough.

Matt (01:16:46.297)
he's collecting for money, what is all this money actually for? What is Trekkers grand plan? And why is it GIMP suits?

Luciano (01:16:51.867)
Hmm.

Chris (01:16:52.214)
He wants to come. Yeah, well, okay. Well, then you just pigeonholed him. I'm tapping somebody in. You said, why is it Gimp suits? Okay. So.

Matt (01:16:58.706)
No, answer your own way, I'm just asking questions. I'm just asking questions. Do your research.

Luciano (01:17:02.403)
Why is it a Gimsuit? HA HA!

Spencer (01:17:09.531)
Go to www. of killing a John Williams dog. Look into it.com. Dogblogspot.com. Slash me on the.

Matt (01:17:10.533)
Hahahaha

Luciano (01:17:13.006)
dot blogspot dot blogspot dot com

Chris (01:17:14.562)
dot com geo cities. Hey, why does slash me undies sound so right? Anyways, um, tracker has been working for the, like, it's been, it's been employed by the high table, you know, it's been an employee for quite some time and he's noticed a market opportunity with respect to the home Depot and if teasing, he's like, I could do better. I feel, I really think that

Like the metaverse is being under looked and you know, it'd be nice to write. And I'd like to, you know, I'd just like to get a really great plot of land and just start my own tech thing and have my, I let my dog run free in like digital land. I want my dog to not have to walk ever again. I'll just get a treadmill, plop them on it and then just drop a headset. Well, he would be walking, but at least you know where your dog is. You don't have to put an actual tracker on your tracker's dog. Your dog's at home in the metaverse.

Spencer (01:17:45.02)
Underutilized, yep.

Spencer (01:17:53.395)
Like Digital Land?

Spencer (01:18:01.258)
He'd still be walking.

Spencer (01:18:09.139)
Doesn't sound like much of a life.

Chris (01:18:11.274)
Well, what is life is the high life. You can have your food Instacarted to you at any time of the day, like who needs Uber? Exactly. I told you Spencer, I told you to dream bigger darling.

Spencer (01:18:12.456)
Hehehe

Spencer (01:18:17.886)
He'd have his own cater-cater?

Luciano (01:18:20.922)
Okay. Hahaha!

Spencer (01:18:22.23)
Heheheheheheh

Spencer (01:18:26.52)
You know what, I see what you're saying. I think he needs that money because he likes the ponies. He likes to bet. He's a big gambler.

Luciano (01:18:36.954)
is a gambling addiction.

Matt (01:18:39.417)
Those ponies aren't for ridin' or racin', they're for assassin' and we already covered this.

Spencer (01:18:43.683)
No, no, this... he wants to start his own horse ring. Take him out of the... take... No, no, he wants to take him out of that life. This life ain't for you ponies!

Luciano (01:18:44.398)
Hahaha!

Luciano (01:18:48.506)
There you go, that's what it-

Matt (01:18:50.418)
slash assassin ring.

Luciano (01:18:53.394)
No, no, no. No, no, what happens is, what happens is the pony who wins the race becomes an assassin. It's sort of like a training ground.

Chris (01:18:55.566)
Is this, are we actually talking about ponies? Are we talking about?

Matt (01:19:05.265)
Oh, I like this. Yeah. Okay. I got it now. I follow you now, Spencer.

Spencer (01:19:06.983)
No, this is, this is, this is, that's not what I said. And this is tracker's dream. He wants to, no, he, he's in deep, he's in deep with the sharks. So he owes a lot of money. He bets on sharks too.

Chris (01:19:11.522)
That's just... Ha ha ha.

Luciano (01:19:17.654)
Wait, I thought it was ponies.

Chris (01:19:20.578)
He's in deep with the sharks and he wants ponies.

Luciano (01:19:22.05)
He bats on like shark racing.

Matt (01:19:25.743)
Is that a shark fighting and running? What are the sharks? I need to know.

Chris (01:19:25.838)
I'm so crazy.

Spencer (01:19:28.815)
the

Chris (01:19:30.286)
Apparently the great white shark, there's only one last great white shark before they become extinct.

Matt (01:19:30.463)
No!

Spencer (01:19:35.079)
That is not true.

Matt (01:19:36.589)
Hey, Matt, I don't need your buzzkill on this podcast.

Chris (01:19:37.038)
Apparently.

Luciano (01:19:37.166)
Also, why the fuck did you have to bring something so sad?

Spencer (01:19:40.172)
That's cause of all the... Let's call the shark fighting rings. I got the great white in round two via Finn mission. So close. No, he bets on the shark, she bets on the pole. Anything that lives or dies he bets on.

Matt (01:19:43.417)
This...

Matt (01:19:51.617)
Wow, you fucking were so close to landing that you just crashed into the ocean.

Luciano (01:19:54.413)
Yeah, I just crashed face first into the ground.

Matt (01:20:04.111)
Does he bet on the Jets?

Luciano (01:20:04.286)
So basically he has a business idea that he needs to fund. He needs to fund a business idea, Matt. That's the answer. The shark slash pony racing business. Yeah, that's what Spencer said.

Spencer (01:20:05.604)
No, no, he's not that sick.

Spencer (01:20:11.087)
No, that's not what I said. He bets on all a-

Matt (01:20:11.157)
Yeah, all right, fair enough. Yeah, the ponies.

Matt (01:20:17.621)
Yeah, we got you. Yeah. Yeah, you're gonna have sharks and ponies fight each other and the winner is gonna be the world's best assassin. I heard it all. Right. Yeah, yeah.

Spencer (01:20:19.925)
You hearing the words that are coming out of my mouth?

Luciano (01:20:27.979)
No, they race first, then they fight, and then whoever wins becomes an assassin. That's basically a summary of what Spencer said.

Chris (01:20:28.898)
Yeah. And they need to, you know, there's a cool down. Right. Don't forget, like, if you was I the only one listening to Spencer, there's a there's a pie eating contest and the pies are filled with shark fins.

Spencer (01:20:45.715)
Finally, somebody who's listening! Thank you, Chris!

Luciano (01:20:45.906)
Oh, no, it's shark fin soup. It's not a pie, it's shark fin soup.

Chris (01:20:53.747)
Okay, but you gotta wash the pie down with shark fin soup because a real shark is a killer.

Luciano (01:20:56.968)
I'm

Spencer (01:20:59.911)
We'll be right back. We'll be back. We'll be back after a short word from our sponsors.

Luciano (01:21:00.898)
Matt, please fucking segue out of somewhere into something. Ha ha ha.

Chris (01:21:08.774)
Do you ever wonder how many Werther's candies are too many? Let me tell you. It's never too much.

Luciano (01:21:13.958)
Oh no, Werther's again?

Spencer (01:21:17.139)
Hehehe... Ha ha... Merth... Werther's is back?!

Luciano (01:21:19.386)
Hahaha

Spencer (01:21:21.479)
We're in deep with Big Werther's.

Chris (01:21:23.746)
You know, and Big Werther's is everything you need for all your bedroom activities. Go back into the boudoir with your special someone and don't forget the Werther's. Oh, the roof of my mouth. Ah, it's so sharp.

Luciano (01:21:24.133)
Hahaha!

Luciano (01:21:30.839)
Oh no.

Matt (01:21:39.557)
You know what the weird, the weirdest thing about these live reads are is like, I thought where this was just for old people, but they're getting very graphic. And I'm not really sure what the target market is anymore.

Spencer (01:21:49.496)
They've gotten dark.

Luciano (01:21:49.814)
Are you saying are you saying old people can be graphic? What's wrong with you? What's with this ageism here now?

Matt (01:21:53.845)
I'm just... Well, I mean...

Chris (01:21:56.666)
Agnish, I'm going to make, I'm going to take out these, I'm going to take out my teeth, don't you worry, I'm going to, the teeth, you wrote me a little note and I read it with my good eye, and then I told you I would bring the weather back in, Agnish.

Matt (01:22:01.581)
You did this, Luciano. This is on you. Whoa.

Luciano (01:22:02.786)
No, take the... leave the teeth out, it's probably better. Ha ha ha!

Luciano (01:22:15.578)
Holy shit, it's not only an old man, it's an old like war veteran doesn't have any teeth doesn't have an eye

Chris (01:22:23.138)
How do you know they lost the eye in war? What if they lost the eye in a sexual escapade? Why not both?

Luciano (01:22:27.938)
Why not both?

Spencer (01:22:30.243)
We'll be right back from a word from our sponsors.

Chris (01:22:34.006)
Do you ever suffer from plantar fasciitis? Let me tell you. Spencer, you're the expert.

Spencer (01:22:37.014)
Ooh.

Matt (01:22:40.569)
DocWalks.

Spencer (01:22:41.095)
DocWax or the Winsoles, real product that doesn't affiliate with sexual acts with old people. That's your business.

Matt (01:22:47.04)
I mean if they need it for less.

Chris (01:22:48.182)
I've ever... If you put some say though, I'm pretty sure we could find the... Jimmy, pull up the link with Dr. Oz. Fuck Jamie. Jimmy, pull up the Dr. Oz video where you super glue seven Werthers together to help your flat feet.

Luciano (01:22:49.839)
Live your life your own way

Spencer (01:22:55.263)
It's not Jamie, it's Jamie! God damn you! Heheheheh!

Luciano (01:22:56.71)
I missed it.

Matt (01:22:58.893)
the

Luciano (01:23:01.815)
Moving on!

Matt (01:23:06.937)
So, you know how we watched John Wick and it was a series of action sequence that had nothing to do with each other? We were just recording these bits just to show you how disjointed and confusing it is. So if you didn't think that each of those, each singular bit was funny, just know as a part of a larger bit that you should have found funny. You should have found it funny though. Yeah, so just so you know how it works since we like to explain our jokes here.

Luciano (01:23:14.543)
yeah we're mimicking it yeah

Spencer (01:23:14.728)
Yes.

Chris (01:23:15.013)
Oh.

Chris (01:23:20.577)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:23:21.079)
and bad.

Chris (01:23:25.166)
I'm still mad at him, it's good. Mm.

Luciano (01:23:28.111)
It's even less funny.

Chris (01:23:29.61)
Life imitating art, you know?

Matt (01:23:35.189)
Now, Luciano really appreciates that because he doesn't understand. So that's the joke. Moving on. Let's just wrap this up. We're going to give our scores to this movie. We're going to rank it. So, we're going to give our scores to this movie.

Luciano (01:23:38.406)
No, I still don't appreciate it.

Spencer (01:23:41.22)
Laugh now, moving on.

Chris (01:23:43.307)
HAHAHAHA

Chris (01:23:48.622)
That's how we really do it. Dig it. Yeah. For beyond delicious.

Luciano (01:23:48.778)
Oh, right. Oh, that's right. Well, we...

Spencer (01:23:50.707)
Did I give Werther's like a B? Wait, is that not what we're rating?

Matt (01:23:55.076)
I haven't that's never rating John Wick 4 we use the tiered rating system s is the highest F is the lowest somewhere between please just a little synopsis why you put the movie where you did let's go with Luciano to start with

Spencer (01:23:57.773)
Alright

Luciano (01:24:10.326)
Okay, so I didn't like this movie a whole lot. It didn't have to be as long as it was by, like it could have been an hour less and it would have been fine. Yeah, exactly that. And...

Spencer (01:24:21.711)
No right being this long.

Luciano (01:24:29.082)
The action scenes weren't fun except for that overhead one. Most of them were like overdrawn and which is the, like at least from the first movies for me, the best part was where it was all the action and this one, even that wasn't that much fun. The story is kind of convoluted, kind of convoluted, just convoluted and doesn't really explain it. And I think the thing that really pissed me off the most at the end is that he died in the end, like I, whatever. That's such a cop out. So.

Honestly, I came in here as usually happens with a different grade. I started this in my head with a C, but I'm going to give it a D. This is a D for me.

Matt (01:25:08.761)
Cool. Let's go with Chris.

Chris (01:25:13.078)
This movie, this movie was pretty long. I, you know, last week we watched the super Mario brothers movie and I'd seen it so many times that I started with John Wick four and then I smoked up, right. And thinking that this movie would be, you know, a high octane romp in John Wick fashion, right? Applying all the tried and true and you know, genre envelope pushing.

You know patterns and formulas that we've come to appreciate in this series, but in this movie It has a foundation like you're like Oh, I'm gonna go have a really good delicious piece of cake because I've had it before and I'm just expecting some really good flavors, right I go in Good foundation, but like me I don't like black forest cake So why are there sudden other sour cherries in? in this cake and sour cherries

Matt (01:26:10.481)
There aren't sour cherries in Black Force Cake.

Chris (01:26:13.43)
They were terrible in mind. So yeah, so I don't want anything but chocolate cake in my chocolate cake, right? So anyways, this movie just had unexpected elements that do not, you know, unexpected elements, you know, these things don't have any place in my John Wick experience. Example, stairs that beat up John Wick more than any assassin in this damn story.

Matt (01:26:15.763)
Okay.

Spencer (01:26:24.243)
Beautiful. It's like Shakespeare.

Luciano (01:26:41.114)
He was fine afterwards. I know.

Chris (01:26:43.242)
And that's the worst part. Like it's just so unbelievable now. And like it had potential, but at the same time, I see you mad to tell you as to try to play me off with your Oscar, your Oscar track with the hand wave. It's just a big, the Academy, you can edit it. It's fine. Anyways, I was going to give this a B, but it's a C to me.

Matt (01:26:58.363)
I'll just edit you later.

Spencer (01:27:01.144)
De-d

Matt (01:27:08.201)
Alright, that's fair. Harsh but fair. Controversial but brave. Speaking of that, letting Spencer talk!

Spencer (01:27:16.819)
Thank you, thank you, thank you. De-de-de-de. Hey, keep your music, hold on, I haven't even started. This movie was two hours and 50 minutes. This is a John Wick movie.

Luciano (01:27:17.678)
Just in general?

Matt (01:27:19.075)
Yeah.

Matt (01:27:25.113)
Hehe

Chris (01:27:25.27)
HA HA!

Matt (01:27:33.733)
uh, essentially two Super Mario Bros. long.

Luciano (01:27:37.365)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:27:37.967)
Super Mario Brother movies long. This is a John Wick movie this John what I would rather be watching a John Wilkes Booth movie

Luciano (01:27:43.05)
Willk? John Willk's Booth movie.

Chris (01:27:44.834)
Jack Wolfsbooth, RIPPY!

Matt (01:27:46.552)
Hehe

Chris (01:27:49.47)
John Wilkes Booth was the first high table hire. No, you did Cain Enable, never going.

Matt (01:27:54.241)
Yep. Ha ha ha.

Spencer (01:27:55.155)
This is my time. You've had your time to talk about Werther's and shark fin pie. You've had your time.

Luciano (01:27:55.278)
Wow. Jesus, just fucking deflated immediately.

Chris (01:27:58.25)
This is our time, our time, okay. Gypsum, Mithril.

Spencer (01:28:05.959)
So, yeah, this movie, I don't know if you've heard me say it before, but it had no right being this long. This movie, it was so boring. I was falling asleep in this movie. I'm falling asleep in a John Wick movie. The fight scenes were just drawn out like you said, blah, blah. Same old shit. But like, I hate CGI blood. There was like bad green screen. All that shit.

Luciano (01:28:13.434)
Hahaha!

Luciano (01:28:28.7)
Slow motion, yeah.

Spencer (01:28:34.803)
But my biggest problem with the movie is my suspension of disbelief can only go so far. And this crossed that line. The other the other John Wick movies were just in there. But this one now, it's just like, why isn't he dead there? Why isn't he dead? The guy ran him over with the car and that he's on top of his windshield and the guy shooting through the windshield and missing. He's covering his whole windshield. You can't see anything but John Wick.

Chris (01:28:51.751)
Yeah.

Luciano (01:28:57.243)
Misses. Yes.

Chris (01:29:02.061)
Yeah.

Spencer (01:29:02.399)
It's just moments like that. There's so many the whole business model of the high table Anyways, I had a lot of problems with this movie. So a plus no, it's an it's an honestly It's it's an e for me and it's almost an F. I was pretty fucking annoyed No, it's no Morbius. It's no Morbius. It's it had a lot of like some good action stuff. So that's why it's an e

Matt (01:29:12.997)
Thanks for watching!

Luciano (01:29:13.51)
Ha ha!

Chris (01:29:13.835)
Yeah.

Matt (01:29:19.069)
Wow. I mean, it's no Morbius, come on now. You're just mad.

Chris (01:29:23.007)
Okay.

Spencer (01:29:31.663)
I was so fucking bored.

Chris (01:29:31.978)
E for Everyone.

Matt (01:29:34.181)
Uh, alright, I... This is a movie I watched. And... Um... No, it's fine! It's... It's Glory Road, I watched this. Um, put it on the box. No, I wa- it's... it's not great. It's not... The action sequences in the cells are fine, they just go on too long. Right? And, so like, some- like... Yeah. I mean... Nah, they're fine. Like, what do you- what do you want?

Luciano (01:29:40.922)
glowing, glowing review there

Chris (01:29:40.941)
Mm-hmm.

Spencer (01:29:53.247)
so long.

Luciano (01:29:55.771)
Do you really think they were fine? Because I thought they were like not good action scenes even if they were shorter.

Matt (01:30:03.533)
Like what?

Luciano (01:30:04.031)
for them not to be in slow motion maybe? Ha ha ha.

Matt (01:30:06.269)
I mean, listen, not everything was in slow motion. He didn't exact, yeah, he wasn't exact nettering in this movie. At least the action, only the action was slow motion.

Spencer (01:30:07.267)
Wasn't Zack Snyder.

Luciano (01:30:11.446)
No, it was just Gene Reeves moving at the pace of a 60 year old man.

Matt (01:30:16.493)
Right, but he's old, who gives a shit? That's like, if you didn't want to watch an old man do an action movie, then you shouldn't watch this movie. Um, and I force you to watch it. But anyways, it's not important. What important is, what important is my rating of this. I had a okay time. I would say it's probably the third, maybe the fourth movie of the fourth, like John Wick movies. John Wick 1 and 2 being, you know, they are probably, you know.

Luciano (01:30:22.97)
That's fair.

Spencer (01:30:26.911)
Heheheheheheh

Luciano (01:30:28.527)
That's also fair.

Matt (01:30:42.489)
S's and A's depending on how you want to slot them. And then John Wick 3 kind of sucked and John Wick 4 was maybe a bit better and wrapped up the story. So here we are. I would say it's a C for me. Like I like it's okay. It was fine. I probably will never watch it again because if I want to watch John Wick, I'll watch one of the ones that's, you know, a lot shorter and the plot is much more simple. This is my podcast and I'll keep talking as much as I want.

Spencer (01:31:05.507)
This is our podcast sir. Get em boys! This is a mutiny.

Matt (01:31:11.904)
No, no, it's...

Chris (01:31:11.918)
Get him! Get him! Let him!

Luciano (01:31:12.687)
Yeah, this is our podcast and we can talk as much as Matt wants.

Matt (01:31:17.801)
Yeah, you can talk if I feel like letting you.

Chris (01:31:17.806)
Take them away, toys!

Spencer (01:31:23.783)
50 million for Matt's head.

Chris (01:31:25.302)
Why was that so threatening? I feel undressed in my ears.

Matt (01:31:30.829)

Spencer (01:32:11.071)
I'm getting paid in DC coin.

Matt (01:32:14.445)
Whoa. That you should have got, you should have got the Home Depot NFTs. That would have been way better. Yeah.

Luciano (01:32:15.244)

Chris (01:32:16.686)

Spencer (01:32:18.411)
I owe them money. That would have been awesome. Yeah, I have to pay.

Chris (01:32:23.67)
We're gonna be rich.

Matt (01:32:27.141)
You have to pay them. F***ed up.

Spencer (01:32:28.071)
I have to pay them for what they owe me.

Matt (01:32:30.881)

We're gonna watch Blue Beetle. That is going to cover our comics, our C in the facts category. So you've been warned, we're watching it. It's your choice to watch it. Chris (01:33:14.266)
Yeah.

Luciano (01:33:15.953)
Is it Shadow sponsored with Shadow money as well?

Chris (01:33:19.252)
No.

Spencer (01:33:20.051)
Does it count as a sponsor if they're paying you NOT to bring them up? Ha-

Matt (01:33:20.856)
Where?

Luciano (01:33:24.378)
Definitely, definitely.

Matt (01:33:24.778)
I think so.

Chris (01:33:24.855)
That's, listen, money is money.

Spencer (01:33:27.923)
we are not brought to you by apple it's the fruit they're strongly against us we are not brought to you by granny smith or macintosh

Matt (01:33:28.428)
Anyways.

Chris (01:33:30.978)
Hehehehe

Matt (01:33:31.277)
But he didn't say it's not the apple you think. That's all we're saying.

Luciano (01:33:34.102)
No, it's just, it's just groceries. It's groceries, it's produce, it's produce.

Matt (01:33:37.665)
It's different. Yeah.

Chris (01:33:39.246)
Trogers
